Underdogs Grill & Chill — Restaurant in West Monroe

Walking in the place looks in a little underdressed. Thinking it needed more color and more sports items. It was really hot to me in there around 12:30-1:00 which made eating out food a little more uncomfortable and off putting. They had options of where to sit and had space especially with me and my kids that was a huge relief. The staff and service was amazing Lacey B was fantastic! She kept my families drinks full and always checked on us! Shout out to you girl! You deserve a raise! The gator bites appetizer…I believe for the price there could’ve been more to delivery quantity and quality, it was very tough to bite into and I’ve had gator before I already know it’s tough but this was cooked too long tough and could’ve used more seasoning. The roumulade sauce was amazing! My crawfish poppy was really great! Tasted a little salty but it was really good in my opinion. I think a good mayo on the poboy bread would’ve been good too but I should’ve asked for it. My husband burger looked really good but he said the burger was missing the seasoning it had no flavor. The kids cheese quesadilla was good my kids loved it! I love that they have small kids cuts and the bendy straws that really helped with them not making a mess I wish other places would get with the program like y’all on that! Going to the bathroom here…it didn’t seem clean at all there was toilet paper on the floor and soap was not filled in one of them in the big stall. Bathroom could use some decor too to fit with the theme of the restaurant. All in all I give a 3 out of 10 and probably won’t be returning due to just being overprice for what is provided. Multiple fails. Server took my order. She even made sure to ask bone in or boneless wings. She moved her pen when she wrote the order down, she verbally reviewed the order with me before she left the table. The food was up and i heard the server declare she “forgot to ring in fries”, “I need fries with this order”!

She delivered the food a minute later with luke warm fries and boneless wings. I told her the wings were wrong style. She took them and verbally called for a recook, while she was at the bar/ computer.

I just told her to cancel the order.

She tried to bring the boneless wings back. I said no thanks you.

The front special board said thur spec well drinks $5. On the opposite side of the board said “happy hour — 6”. Partially my fault for not reading the whole board.

Maybe one woman is not enough to bother with, maybe it was the family and homework was a distraction. There is a reason the place only had 4 tables on a Thursday night!

Don’t expect to get what you order or the table to be cleaned around you. You should also not look at the kitchen wall, the built up of grease is a hazard.

The bartender made the drinks fairly quickly and the liquor room/office looked clean and organized from the dining room. Im completely disappointed. I hope it was a fluke and the restaurant had an off night. I hope they dont run off of people from out of town that just have to except...

We went here for the first time the last night it was a busy night so I expected to be treated as such. But no the waiting staff was great and friendly. Here is where I lost all interest in eating here again. The gator bites I order came out partially burnt. And the crawfish meat pies were good. But when my Chicken Philly steak poboy came out the chicken was burnt and bun over toasted. And the last straw for my family and this may not affect everyone but my family the song playing over the speakers was not radio edited versions of anything. Don't get me wrong I say the occasional cuss word myself so no big deal but GD is where I draw the line. And the song panic at the disco cam on and the words haven't you people ever heard of closing the GD door played over and over. We had to go. So not a great environment for a family if you don't want to expose your kids to it. Didn't like having to explain to my 7 year old what GD meant after and that we don't say that!...
