Mango and Bananas Cafe — Restaurant in West New York

The customer service it's awful, we place the order for our food and told them not to include certain ingredients and they made it the way they wanted, order 4 shakes and a lemonade, 2 of the shakes were made with spoiled fruit (banana) and the 3rd shake tasted like water had no fruit taste. The sandwiches, they added all the ingredients even tho we told them not to, the salchipapas, we order them plain and they still put the sauce. It was for take out, when I got home and tasted 😩 😫 it was nasty, went back to the restaurant and the lady said that it was done correctly and that's how the shakes are made everywhere, noooooooo I know how the good food taste like!!! she dead a$$ said it was good and that she wasn't going to make them again for real someone that work at a kitchen doesn't know what and how nasty spoiled bananas taste like?? After a little back and forth with the employee they had to give us the money for only 2 shakes. Worst customer service and food ever, wish there was a 0 stars. Never going back...

Very great place ! The manager greeted us with a great big smile. The workers are very nice and handed us our order and got everything right which was amazing because we had a huge order!

Now what you all came here for rating the food . The fries are phenomenal wow! You need to get the salchipapa. Which is a combination of fries and fried hotdog dressed with their special house sauses ! The milk shakes I think are what they are best know for besided their fries comobs I am trying to go down there menu of milkshakes and venture out!

Over all experance very amazed it's a very nice place to hang out with friends after school or after a night out !! They play alot of spanish (sometimes they mix it up ) music but I think that due to the fact its located in a Latino community which in it self is a nice change...

Enjoy the delicious shakes, and beef empanadas. The guy that runs this particular one is professional, and down to Earth type of guy. The ladies that work there are sweethearts....Except for one. And this does not diminish Banana Kings five star rating. She is a young Latina woman with brownish blonde hair, caramel brown skin, and black eyebrows. I am not sure what her deal is, if it's her normal everyday attitude, or if it's only when I show up, but she seems to have this angry energy about her. She comes off as if she wants to fight by the way she takes the order, or maybe she's upset that someone didn't ask her out to dinner, or maybe both...lol. Not sure what her deal is, or if I just catch her on a bad night at work...but I don't care, the shakes are so damn...
