Strange thing about Wendy's on Trooper Rd. For some odd reason, when it comes to the Dave's Single burger, they purposely cheat people out of their money. I shall explain. I have been going to Wendy's for decades and I am well versed about their menu. The Dave's Single burger GETS 2 slices of cheese. One on the bottom bun beneath the beef, and one on top of the beef. You don't have to believe me, just look at ANY picture of Dave's Single burger. At this store, they purposely only give you one slice on top of the burger. But now it gets better. Having my receipt, I contact the corporate office to file a complaint. Corporate gives me the phone number to the restaurant after I tell them the problem. Now I am supposed to do the job of the Wendy's Corporate office as well as get cheated from this particular restaurant. ANY Wendy's employee knows that Dave's Single gets 2 slices of cheese. This is very deliberate on the stores part. Any other Wendy's I order this burger from prepares it correctly. The corporate office NEEDS to do their job and correct this, for the customers sake. Read more0 stars if it were possible!!! This location is the WORST!!! Just moved to Audubon and my kids love Wendy's, this is the only one in the vicinity. Ignoring the fact that everytime I would purchase there the fries were always cold and soft. My last experience they dropped the ball not once but twice on one drive thru order. First of all they don't honor their coupons and their telephone number does not work, so to address the problem I had to drive and rejoin the line only to be told there's nothing that can be done to adjust my receipt. After I checked my bag they forgot to put a whole burger in my order. So here i go again in the drive thru at this point it was an hour since the original order so I told them I wanted a refund at this point because my food was cold. The manager informed me that he would only make the missing burger and I could not get my money back even though I had the food still originally packaged. Can you just imagine what they would have done to my order? So $27 later my order ended up in their trash. It's been almost a week and still no response from their customer...

Basically we were super friendly in the drive thru line since we both worked customer service and hospitality before and totally understood the struggle of closing. The woman who greeted us was rude but I brushed it off as she was tired. And then we pulled to the window, paid, they didn’t give a receipt, and then handed us our food with no “have a good night” or any interaction. The manager included. Kinda shocked. It’s 11:02pm currently, I ordered fries, but my boyfriend ordered a burger and they DIDN’T EVEN COOK THE BURGER! It was STILL COLD. Seriously? I’ve worked in hospitality customer service and FOH for 9 years. I don’t care how tired you are, you do not serve a frozen burger to a customer.
