Update: I have to say that they have hired a new group of cashiers that are friendly and efficient, and I've enjoyed interacting with them a few times a week when I order. However, today (1/27/23) I had a really unpleasant experience with a woman that appeared to be a manager.
This manager was not extremely friendly from the get-go. Anyone that buys anything here knows that it has become pretty pricey to eat here!! And upon seeing my normal $13 breakfast order jump to $14, I looked at my receipt, and saw that she charged me for a regular charged lemonade instead of a large fountain drink, which is roughly a dollar more. So I informed her that she charged me for the wrong item. She was very dismissive, saying that she rang me up for a regular charged lemonade instead of a large anyway, I'm assuming to suggest that it was an even wash. But it was still almost a dollar more, so I told her so. And then she responded as if I was being unreasonable and out of line for wanting the difference refunded to me. Had that been the end of it, I would have moved on with my day -- but then she made it a point to say loudly to the line staff that it's Friday and she's not doing the register anymore because she doesn't want the aggravation of helping customers like me. Completely unprofessional. I work just down the road at a law firm and and have food catered from their store constantly. She just lost a great deal of catering for the store.
The staff moves extreeemely slow. The staff doesn’t seem to be organized in a manner that works efficiently. I have put up with it because it’s close to my child’s daycare. However I just trying to drop in today (Monday) for something to drink at 7:50 AM and the doors were locked. A stranger outside said they aren’t opening until 8 AM. Their specialty is breakfast and bakery items! Far too late for...
Read moreThis has to be the worst Panera Bread I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot of Panera Breads. I mean it's really bad. Very disorganized. Unfortunately it's the only one currently near me. Where to start? It doesn't matter what you order whether it's a meal, an empty cup for self-serve coffee, or a cookie from behind the counter, you're going to be waiting at least 45+ minutes before it's ready. Then the real fun begins. Where is your order? Nobody knows. How the so-called rapid pickup shelf works is a mystery that I still have yet to figure out. My rapid pickup orders using the app never end up on the rapid pickup shelf for whatever reason. Other people's orders are there but never mine. My name sometimes appears on the preparing column of the screen at the rapid pickup shelf. Then it disappears. Finding out when your rapid pickup order is ready and where it might be is a challenge that requires walking around the place asking several workers every time I come here. The order is never ready when you get a text message or email saying it is. What else? The self-serve coffee station is often out of coffee and milk. This is a common issue at other Paneras. There are only a couple of power outlets in the place that barely work. Some people use this place as an office and never leave. So good luck getting a power outlet. Oh, good news, I finally found my bagel today after waiting an hour and talking to several workers who had no clue where it might be....

Dear [Panera Customer Service/Management],
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had at your bakery. I visited your West palm Beach village common location and ordered a Maltese Cheese sandwich, expecting to receive a full sandwich as described. However, after waiting for approximately 15 minutes, I was served a portion that was nearly a quarter of the size I anticipated.
When I raised this issue with the manager on duty, I was shocked by her response. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, she dismissed them outright, claiming that "this is how they are" and that even half of a whole sandwich would be this size. Her tone was dismissive, and she even raised her voice, making the interaction uncomfortable and disappointing.
As a customer, I believe it is my right to receive the product I paid for and to be treated with respect. This experience has left me questioning the quality of service at your establishment, which is concerning given that Panera has always been a place I’ve relied on for quality food and service.
I have attached photos of the sandwich I received, which clearly show that it was not as advertised. I hope that this matter can be resolved promptly, and I look forward to your response.
Thank you for your attention to this...
