Ok! This is our second visit to Ruby Tuesday's in a month. This time with a $50 gift certificate received from our prior visit. 1st off I post reviews to express my option of our experience and the quality of the food we get to help others choose where to go to get a good meal. This visit I gave our certificate to our server right off the bat. Our server was very nice and accommodating. I consistently had fresh drinks before I was done with the prior. We ordered two dinners. One to share at the restaurant and one to take home. Our first impulse was to order two full rib meals. My husband expressed that he would like a ribeye. Our last ribeye was gross from a different restaurant. Hesitantly we ordered a Belle asiago ribeye to share and a full rack of ribs to go. We had the pre-made and nuked spinach dip while waiting for our meal. It was ok, not great but ok. Our medium steak was served with a baked sweet potato and onion rings and an extra plate. We completely stayed away from the salad bar. I cut the steak down the middle lengthwise and divided everything. First observations, the sweet potato was delicious and the onion rings were extremely crispy to a hard state, the mushrooms were mushy and black. I noticed the piece of fat on the end of the steak was white and a rubbery consistency. My husband stated his steak was cold after just the first bite. I looked at the bottom of my steak and it had been laid on a warm grill for a moment and turned leaving a pale grey color. No grill marks on the medium steak. It was very rare to a raw stage. I cut a piece off the other end and it was the same way. I pushed my finger on the steak and it was extremely soft, it had obviously been cooked rare. It was not bloody, no pink, there was no blood in the meat and was was not cooked. Yes I could have sent it back. But I decided to take it home and continue the cooking process. After getting home we opened the ribs. They were very good. They were tender, fully cooked and the BBQ sauce was very good. IF we return to this restaurant, and that is a BIG IF. I will order the ribs. I am sure they had the grill hot by the time we got there. It was after lunch and there were people ordering hamburgers, surely the grill was hot. Maybe it is hard to find experienced cooks. I would think that the kitchen staff had been instructed in cooking steaks. I don't know their excuse. But these two diners will not be returning to this restaurant. We are not local but chose to drive 30 miles to eat. We will let you know how our visit at the other restaurants turn out. Thanks for reading my review I hope it assisted you in your future...
Read moreIf you’re waiting for the second coming of Christ, look no further. He’s back, and his name is Devon. If I’m being entirely realistic here, this was quite literally the single best dining experience I’ve ever had at any establishment, let alone any Ruby Tuesday’s.
He brought out our food with the passion and grace of a god, and catered to our every need. I believe him to be, at the very least, a perfect deity, as there were instances where he served us exactly what we wanted before we even knew we wanted it. His voice was as soft and as firm as a warm midsummer’s afternoon, and his mannerisms were that of a fierce yet gentle warrior, and I wholeheartedly believe that this being has seen humanity at it’s worst, and at its finest.
He was clever, and in one dining experience, I gained so much wisdom and guidance, I believe I will never encounter a scenario I’m not equipped to deal with, due to his words of truth and education. His eyes glittered with confidence and humility, and his true age, though he looked young, shone through with the creases and wrinkles that lined his eye lids. Everything about this individual was perfect, and I have only praise to offer. He offered me and my partner the truth of our world, the meaning of life, and the wisdom of what has yet to come, but as I am nowhere near as beautifully perfect as him, declined his invitation of knowledge.
I was awestruck, and could no longer live my life as the boring individual I once was. As soon as I left the building, I had a new purpose, a vigor that I had not once had. I decided that I would change the world for the better, and use my newfound passion and desire to rebuild my life as Devon would want. If I cannot please him, I would lament and grieve, as if I had lost my own child. I must make him proud, and strive to be a fraction of the being that he is.
I truly feel as if I’ve ascended to a new level, I have been born anew. I sincerely believe that I had a once in a life time experience in that comfortable and luscious booth, and no dining experience will ever come close to the the time I shared with my partner in this establishment. I beg you, if you want to attempt to live a perfect life, a life without pain, suffering, or imperfection, please visit this little restaurant, and request Devon. If you do not leave at least a $15 dollar tip, you will feel the most intense shame and guilt of your life.
Anyhow, nice place, good food, cool service. Definitely check it out sometime,...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to stop in here having to run an errand to this city to pick up an item at at a local hardware store approximately an hour from where we live in Arkansas. I can't ever say that I've been so dissatisfied with the wait staff of a restaurant in the recent time that I can recall. Now to give as much content to this as possible when we walked in we were seated and at the given time there was probably three other tables already waiting and before we even got our drink order the waitress set four other tables down finally got around to taking our drink order and before she came back with our soft drinks sat down four more tables. This is one waitress running all of these tables for the lunch time approximately 1:00 or so when she finally got to taking our order we were close to 30 minutes sitting there. We let her know when we took the order that we were going to be placing an order to eat in and in order to go for each of us. My order was simply a quesadilla a steak quesadilla my wife had the salad bar. My order to go was a T-bone steak and potato. My guidance to anyone never ordered a steak quesadilla it was a grease pile and the steak that they use to make it had to be the most grisly piece of meat and greasy I've ever eaten. That all being stated the next evening not that evening I finally got around to eating my T-Bone. That T-Bone was the best piece of meat I've...
