Roundabout Restaurant — Restaurant in West Springfield

When it’s good it’s really good, I work In the area and we order lunch multiple times a week. I’ve had their fish and chips, bacon Cheeseburger, antipasto salad buffalo chicken sandwich and their Caesar Salad. I feel it is now time for a decent review. In my opinion the consistency is off. Some days the food is amazing others it’s mediocre at best today was the Caesar Salad and to start the portion was very weak I should have asked for a small I would have gotten the same amount! Additionally they forgot the cheese and the dressing was not portioned properly. Last week I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. I was asked how it comes I said yes and I received a piece of chicken between bread very plain! The burger I had was very bland! The sad part is I’ve ordered from them over a dozen times and I like to try things twice so this is the second time and the first was amazing. As I said no consistency. Today was my first time visiting The Roundabout Restaurant. I went with my mother and sister. I have zero complaints. We arrived, sat at an open table and in less then 5 mins had menus and drinks. The menu has plenty of options. I myself had the Exit 3, my sister had Eggs Benedict and my mother created her own omelet. Their homefries were some of the best I have had, and to top it they give the option of smothering them with onions. The bacon was perfectly crisp and the coffee hot. The waitstaff were attentive, kind and very helpful. The price was more then fair for the portion size.....we were stuffed. I couldn't have asked for a better experience other then maybe a bed to nap in afterwards. LOL. I look forward to visiting again soon....this may be my new...

Had high hopes for this place but unfortunately it let me down. Seen some videos about this place so decided to give it a try and was excited about another local place. Was greeted by a less than enthusiastic girl at the door and was sat in the middle of the restaurant. Wanted breakfast so had to ask for the breakfast menus vs. lunch. Extensive menu but everything is expensive. Opted for a Hash Omelet, which they state are 3-eggs (definitely not) but received a ham omelet. Waitress fixed but admitted she put in wrong. Also ordered a bloody Mary but literally tastes zero alcohol whatsoever. One waitress was very attentive, which wasn't ours.
