I had a really terrible experience here over two weeks ago. I ordered two pizzas online earlier in the day and when I went to pick them up over five hours later, there were about ten other people waiting for their online orders ahead of me. All of us had arrived at our pick up time and were told it would be upwards of 45 minutes to an hour just to have our pizzas made for us that we had ordered well ahead of time. While I was waiting, customers that were walking in to place real time orders were told that due to being short staffed and not having enough crust “it would be impossible” to make their orders. None of the employees making the pizzas we’re communicating wait times for pizzas or when to expect them, but instead told customers that they were to check the racks as pizzas were being made to see if theirs were ready or not yet. Random customers were take it upon themselves to walk up and take pizzas off the rack. Who knows if they were actually taking what was theirs because no employee was checking. I tried to wait it out but after 40 minutes I had to ask to cancel my order due to my babysitter waiting at home for me. When I asked to cancel my order and obtain a refund, I was refused my refund as well as a copy of my receipt and told to contact the manager. I was told I could only take a picture of my receipt, not sure why I couldn’t be given a copy. I have been in touch with Papa Murphy’s online guest services for over TWO WEEKS now and still have yet to receive my refund or any contact from this store manager. But they gave me a three dollar off coupon for my next purchase and then 50% off another purchase? They still have my money!!! I used to love Papa Murphy’s but the fact that I have yet to receive my money back has left such a bitter taste in my mouth that I feel like I can’t order from...

I walked in to papa murphys yesterday, 30 minutes before close. I was told that they were doing pick up only. I said okay and was about to walk out when they said “but I can make you your pizza”. Great! I order my pizza. Meat lovers with dairy free cheese, minus the salami and Canadian bacon.
I get home, cook the pizza, and eat it with my significant other.
Next morning at 6am I wake up violently ill. Nonstop vomiting and diarrhea from both me and my partner. I can’t keep anything down, not food not water. Nothing.
I call the store only for them to tell me that this is common for people to get sick. Especially if they “don’t tell the register person that they have allergies.” Exactly what kind of business are you running if you decide that telling me to call the corporate office to complain???
First of all it is DISGUSTING to even mention that “we don’t change our gloves when handling the nondairy cheese vs the regular cheese. Only if the customer tells us we do.”
Being lactose intolerant is not a reason for this violent illness I am experiencing. This is straight up food poisoning.
I was also told that “you can be reimbursed with water bottles and gift cards from the corporate office.” Why would you tell me that as well? Why would I ever come here again after this sickening experience??
I wish I would have walked out with no pizza yesterday. At least then I wouldn’t be puking my guts out and experiencing extreme pain and...
Read moreTheir pizza sauce is what separates them from every other pizza place. Stop by on a $10 Tuesday and pick up any large pizza for just 10 bucks, including all their speciality pizzas. It's a great affordable way to pick up a meal (or 2 if you're feeding just one or two people). The pizzas store just fine in the fridge uncooked (we've had them up to a week later and tasted just fine) or stored uncooked in the freezer (ours only ever made it two weeks or so because... It's delicious... We wrapped some in extra cling wrap and put others in just wrapped from the store and never noticed a difference but I do suggest letting them thaw a bit before cooking so the middle cooks more evenly).
The staff at this location are so friendly, our food is usually ready early which is great when we're in a rush, and almost every pizza we've had have been amazing (I credit the red sauce, it's soooo good!). Plus, for just ten bucks, the price...
