Food was good and fresh. There wasn't many guests during lunch hour. That could be a reason why the own kept coming to our table to check on us so many many time. It made us felt very uncomfortable. I was eating my soup hut decided to try other food that my husband offered me so i put my soup aside. The manager and waitress tried to clean up very QUICK that I don't even have time to stop them. My husband said no she is not done yet, then he asked if I want him to put it down so I can continue on the soup. NO , THANK YOU BECAUSE HE ALREADY PUT HIS FINGER INTO MY SOUP BOWL. ALSO, Right after we ordered the ice cream, the waitress asked if we are done with ordering. Then she quickly cleaned up everything around us and took the menus away. After that, when we were still eating ice cream, the owner kept walking around many times like he wants us to leave right away. When we ordered the sushi, they gave us very.little ginger and we need to ask for more. After we order ginger for a second time, the owner gave us a big plate with alot of ginger and told us here I give you alot to make you happy. Omg, he sound and voice made me feel really bad for ordering more ginger. I like the atmosphere, I like the welcome attitude and fresh food, but I don't like the way they service us like that. We need more private time and pls don't rush me when I'm still eating. That was only 1pm. We didn't order alot , the restaurant was slow and we like to enjoy abit. Thank you.

From the outside it looks a bit dicey; I had driven by many times and declined to try it out. Today I said what the hell and went for it. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent. My server hit the checklist of my favoirite things: fresh drink just as I was taking the last sip from my existing drink. Extra napkins just as I discovered I needed more. Hmm, maybe they had a dedicated camera on me and she had an ear fob and they were giving me super VIP treatment, lol. "The subject is taking his last sip, new beverage asap." The food portions were small. On reflection, that was preferred. I chose the all you can eat menu. So many options. I would guess the average serving to be 3 oz., but you could keep ordering until full. Sirloin, duck, and salmon included. Very nice list of sashimi, maki, ingiri, temaki, and special rolls. Yes, I had to use the menu to type all that, lol. The restaurant itself is very clean and well put together. I think its location is the biggest problem. In a stand-a-lone building, this would be fine dining. This would be a great first date location, but also family friendly. You can order off the menu, but the all you can eat menu is well worth it. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. The staff professional. The acoustics can be a little loud, but not off-putting. Give it a try, and find a few things on the menu you never tried before. This is a great opportunity to expand your sushi palate.

I would rate this a 4.5/5, but Google doesn’t allow half stars, so it’s getting rounded to a 5/5. It isn’t the best quality fish by any means, but it’s good, and the service was very fast. It was FAR superior to Kyoto Sushi and my favorite AYCE sushi spot in the cities thus far. I went with a few friends and it was the first time for all of us, so we tried a bunch of different items. Normally I’d stray away from most sides/apps, but we enjoyed the squid salad, calamari, tempura, and I thought the salt and pepper shrimp was fantastic. They didn’t limit the number of anything you ordered, which was really nice. Some places will limit you to one or two of a certain dish, but I didn’t see that anywhere on the menu. The amount of rice was probably 1/3 or 1/4 that of Kyoto, which was a huge relief. With nigiri being my favorite type of sushi, I hate when they give you a ridiculous bed of rice underneath the fish. The sashimi was good, but the slices were a little small. This is likely to reduce waste, so I don’t really mind. We each ended with some ice cream, which was good as well. For just over $30 per person, this is going to be a new go-to for us whenever we are feeling like going ham on some sushi. The restaurant is clean, servers are kind, and there is plenty of free parking. Great spot!

My recent visit to [Tokyo Sushi- all you can eat in WSP] left a bitter taste in my mouth, despite the fact that the food served was truly exceptional. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by an appalling level of service and unprofessional conduct from the staff.

From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the waitress assigned to my table lacked basic courtesy and attentiveness. Throughout the evening, I struggled to get her attention for even the simplest requests. It was frustrating to feel neglected and ignored while dining at the restaurant. And yes, it was quite empty inside the restaurant during this time.

To make matters worse, when it was time to settle the bill, the waiter began hovering over my table, pressuring me to sign the receipt hastily while we’re finishing our dessert. Upon realizing that I hadn't left an additional tip (due to the terrible service and horrible attitude she had) which she later used as an excuse to deny us any future visits to the restaurant. She unleashed a barrage of insults directed towards me and my dining companion. She had the audacity to accuse us of overindulging at the all-you-can-eat establishment. Her threat of banning us from the establishment for these reasons was both unprofessional and unacceptable.

Infuriated by this unprofessional behavior, I immediately sought out the "manager" to address the issue. Despite my grievances, the "manager" failed to take any substantial action to rectify the situation, further highlighting the lack of concern for customer satisfaction. His half-hearted apology felt insincere and did nothing to remedy the situation at hand. It was clear that he either lacked the authority or the willingness to address customer complaints effectively

Adding insult to injury, I witnessed the offensive waitress openly mocking the encounter with another member of the staff. This display of unprofessionalism and lack of respect towards customers was disheartening and completely unbecoming of a supposedly reputable establishment.

It is disheartening to see such an exemplary culinary experience tarnished by the disgraceful conduct of the staff. While I cannot deny the quality of the food, the subpar service I encountered at [Toyko Sushi- all you can eat in WSP] has left an indelible mark on my perception of the establishment. I sincerely hope that the management takes swift action to address these issues and reevaluate their hiring and training practices.

Until significant improvements are made to the service and staff professionalism, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to others seeking an enjoyable...

If I’m able to give this place a 0 star i would. This is my first and last time coming here. The service was terrible. My friends went there to have dinner and i arrived an hour late with my friend. I was handed a menu and we ordered 3 things. I then asked for my check for the 3 items i ordered but the waitress wanted to charge me for all you can eat. My friend and i shared 3 items since we didn’t have an appetite and we ended up not finishing it. The waitress goes and gets the manager, and i explained the manager that my friend and i were just going to pay for the 3 items. The short hair manager started screaming and yelling at me. I was in complete shock by this behavior from a MANAGER. She was acting like a complete child and made me feel uncomfortable. As soon as she started screaming i told her to stop yelling and this conversation is over. I then told her to get me my check so i can leave. She didn’t want to leave me alone and continued to scream and told me i needed to listen to her. I told her, as soon as she started screaming at me she lost the right for me to listen. She then stood next to me for minutes glaring at me. Literally GLARING. I told her to stop glaring and get me my check. She then said she’s not going to leave until i listened. I felt completely uncomfortable by the way she was staring and yelling. I wouldn’t even be surprised if she physically attacked at this point. I told her multiple times to leave me alone and get me my check and she wouldn’t. From anger and frustration she left me and told me to leave. That manager needs to learn respect and manners. The other waitress lost my friends credit card and sat there and started screaming/yelling at my other friend. She was yelling and screaming saying she returned it, just to find out 30 min later that she placed it in the kitchen. This place is a literal joke. I went to see the reviews and other customers had an issue with the same waitress. The owner of this restaurant needs to have training courses for their employees on how to be respectful to customers. This behavior...

My family and I, decided to give this new place a try in hopes we would get the same service as the Maplewood location. However, it wasn't like we thought it would be. My boyfriend and I arrived last because had errands to run. We were served water but the waitress never came to take our order. She spent her sweet precious time helping her co workers clean tables, walking passed us multiple times, ignored us as we called out to her. We even raised our hand and she just glanced at us!!! A few minutes later, we saw her helping her co-workers clean her co-worker's table, leaving us for 20 minutes and havent orded yet!!! We had to yell out to the cooks to get our waitress over to our table so we can order. The cooks then rang the kitchen bell, which she went to the cooks and the cooks had to tell her to serve us. When she came over, she did not apologize for the long wait. She quickly rushed us and asked what we want, we told her we wanted to order ice cream and some appetizers. She stopped us, and asked "you guys only want to order ice creams?". We straight up told her, "we are ordering everything because we know you are not coming back to serve us". Still. She has not apologize, she just walked off with our order. When she came back with our food, we asked for more lemon slices. She refused to give us more lemon slices because they have to save it for the next day. Don't forget. She never refilled our water too! Poor services. If you are going to open a second location, make sure your waiters are well trained. Don't hire people because you just need someone. Your employees are a reflection of your business. GOING TO THE MAPLEWOOD LOCATION NEXT TIME! BETTER SERVICE THERE AND WAITERS ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT YOU! If yall curious, the...
