Tsaocaa has a lot of potential. The owner and/or manager made a grave error opening this location before ensuring the readiness of their staff. I just returned home from my 4th visit and unfortunately will not be giving this place a 5th chance. My husband and I both ordered brown sugar boba milk teas that we waited about 20 minutes for. There were three staff members working at the time, however we were told we could only order at the kiosk. That’s alright, I’m not going to base my review solely on the fact that I had to order on a screen. However, we waited until we got home to taste our drinks when we realized that they put brown sugar jelly and not brown sugar boba in both of them. It sounds silly even writing this, but they made our orders incorrectly. We called the store and spoke to Lance, who told us this was because they ran out of boba. They should have notified customers they were out of boba the moment they walked in the door. They didn’t. Instead, they made our drinks incorrectly and thought we wouldn’t notice. Boba isn’t inexpensive, and I want it to be worth my while especially when I’m waiting 20 minutes for it. Lance’s demeanor over the phone was unacceptable for someone who knowingly made an order incorrectly, but it reflects the person running this establishment. He stated they can’t do refunds, but only remake our drinks. In the background they were whispering back and forth about what to do. Staff are very clearly untrained as they fumble their way through making these drinks, and do not know how to politely engage customers. For what it’s worth, this is not the first time they have run out of boba.
The one time I was actually able to try the brown sugar boba, it was delightful. But until the staffing issues are corrected, I won’t be back. I will be at Teahouse...
Read moreI ordered the 10 piece chicken wings to go as I work nearby and wanted to enjoy them when I got home from work (40 min away) when I got home I opened the box and they had little to no sauce on them.
As I could not drive back before they closed I decided to go in the next day as they opened and spoke to the manager who then spoke to “his boss” maybe the owner. He said they could not do refunds which is an obvious lie, after going back and forth of why I was not satisfied he finally came back to me and said since they don’t do refunds that they can remake them BUT not give me the full 10 piece replacement but only 6. Customer service is very much lacking. I did not go in angry just wanting to resolve it but left angry due to the lack of concern or wanting to make it right. The silver lining is the wings were decent
UPDATE: After a month of waiting after emailing the “owner” I still have gotten no response instead they decided to get some fake accounts to review the chicken wings and give 5 stars lol also there is no “flavor” in the wings it’s...
Read moreIt was a good 20-minute wait on a week night with very few customers. The Lychee slush tastes like water and sugar. Four Season Green Milk Tea tastes like milk powder. Seems like everything is made with powder and syrup. No fresh milk, fresh fruit, or fresh tea. We specifically asked how long would the egg waffle take when we ordered, they said 8-10 minutes. Then they forgot to make it until the drinks were ready, so it ended up taking at least 20-25 minutes. No apology for the forgotten order and long wait time. Also, the buy-2-get-1-free offer is poorly executed. We ordered three $6+ drinks but they only took off $4. They said it’s because they don’t take off for the topping. Huh? Should not offer a promotion like that if they’re this stingy. They also just really took a long long time to make the drinks because all the staff needed to look at recipes while making the drinks. Most other bubble tea place staff have the drink recipes memorized. Regret coming here and will not be...
