I ordered on the app for the new Westbrook store. When I got there for pick up the next day, I went right to the pick up counter. I was ignored, even though I was the only person there, for a good 10 minutes, while the bakers baked, chatted with each other, and filled the orders of the people that were just walking in. It was not busy. If you haven’t been there, it’s an open concept kitchen. Multiple bakers made eye contact with me, but kept on their leisurely pace of chatting and forming cookies. even the girl up front taking walk-in orders didn’t acknowledge me - when she had no one in front of her placing an order, she turned around and chatted to another girl putting big blocks of butter into a giant mixer. And I was at the clearly labeled PICK UP ORDERS counter. Finally, I realized that I must have to tell them on the app that I was there. (SERIOUSLY!?!?) So standing there, at the pick up counter, and ignored for 10 minutes, I opened the app and said I was there. They brought me the order a couple minutes later. wta? brought the cookies to the special occasion I got them for, and we all agreed that they were totally undercooked, over sweet, and didn’t really have much distinctive flavor. Basically, these are overpriced and undercooked. I will not be back. super...
Read moreI’ve visited stores with my daughter and never experienced what I experience today. I received a cookie that was frozen (they stayed it’s chilled), although the descriptions does not state that it’s a chilled cookie. It was a sugar cookie with topping and just gross. I received another cookie that I would say it was delicious although the outside per my newfound knowledge is supposed to be crispy with the middle soft (per feedback options) and the outside was not crispy as I would call it just done and the inside was not cooked. I was told they’re supposed to be that way. I’m insulted that I know the difference between soft and not cooked as I can read a cookie description as well. He was very rude about me sharing my experience and also when he stated it was in the description that it was chilled I went back and looked again and it definitely was not. I will advance my complaint, since the store had no interest in entertaining proper communication with me or showing and interest in...
Read moreI’ve always enjoyed my experiences with Crumbl, but today’s was truly the best I’ve ever had. I’m a teacher and came in to buy a dozen for an amazing group of students, and the people working today were kind and working really hard. On my way home, I was cut off by another car and the box of cookies went flying, leaving them all over the back floor of my car, and I was SO annoyed that they were all ruined (by my own fault—the backseat is not a safe place, DUH). I went back to the store to get new ones, because I need them for school tomorrow, and the worker recognized me because I had just been there. She let me explain the situation, offered to give me a new box and even added some extras because she could tell how upset I was by my own stupidity. It was an act of kindness that I really wanted to share because it was definitely not something she needed to do, but it made my entire week. I wish I got her name, but she was working today, June 6th around 4:30, and she...
