Pod's Pizza — Restaurant in Westerly

Crushing it. This place is like Benny Mardones and Southside Johnny. They had one or two great rock songs and never really hit it big. But every time you get the chance to see them in concert, your blown away by how good they are. This place is hometown all the way. The service is always solid, and the food is so very good. The atmosphere always has me wondering where Tony, Anthony, Meadow and Carmela are sitting. They aren't trying to impress you with presentation, but everything always looks good, and I can't say for sure, but I have a feeling they don't serve it if they don't love it. I try something new each time and everything is always great. The BLT salad this past weekend was ridiculously good. My son had a pizza, which was great at the bar and four hours later may have been even better. My wife always has a salad and does this little "mmm, mmm, um" dance in her seat if she likes her salad. She doesn't always do the dance, but she always does it at Pod's Pizza. Any other restaurant in the area would be stepping it up a notch if they had food this consistently...

Excellent Long Island Ice Teas (they know me by now so they already just start to make one for me) and the food is amazing. I think it was 50 cent wing nights on Wednesdays, $5 Pizza day on Tuesdays, but don't always go for the deals. They have new specials everyday, and a menu that will make your mouth water. It is part bar (Horseshoe shaped in the middle with TV's) and part restaurant. TVs in the rest of the establishment to, and even a private room that I assume you can rent out for big parties. AKA "The Hilltop Cafe." Bartenders are awesome, New York Bob (I think it's bob not positive but he's awesome), Linda, her cool daughter. ...

Stop parking in my spot. I live right next to westerly glass that is located next to hill top pizza. Dont get me wrong food is good. But when I call an say someone is in my spot that I pay 900 a month because I live there. They say what do you want me to do about it. So I have to park down the road an walk where I live but clearly there is a no parking sign. Now for all the people that cant read ruined it for others. Been here for 2 years enough is a enough.
