Kept getting my order wrong. Went home to see that they got my order wrong, went back to the store to correct it. I checked it in the car and it appeared fine but when I went back home, I found they got my order wrong again. I asked for the avocado blt (which comes with turkey bacon) and they subbed it for regular bacon. So needless to say I wasted money and about 1 hour of my time going to and from the store. After going back again, I told them what they gave me was regular bacon ( I can’t eat reg bacon for personal reasons so it’s a big deal for me) and they straight up gas lit me into saying it IS turkey bacon. Posting a picture here to show you that they’re wrong and it is regular bacon. They argued with me and then the rest of the staff ganged up on me a refused to make me a new sandwich 😭. I was nothing but nice too I just wanted my sandwich made properly. So sad, and frustrating.
Update: 7/1 I see a response from the owner below and exactly! In the picture of the bacon below, you can see it has way too much fat on the sides to be turkey bacon. I’ve ordered the sandwich from other Manhattan bagel locations, and the bacon below is definitely pork. Turkey bacon has significantly less fat on the sides and doesn’t ripple on the sides due to low fat content. The bacon below is rippled. I even took a bite out of it and spit it back up which is why it’s mangled in the photo. It’s disheartening to see that this establishment is very bent on gaslighting customers instead of just saying sorry....
Read moreCould not believe how unprofessional and unpleasent demeanor whoever the women store manager was to me over the phone. My order was mistakening sent to thier location using the Chow Now App. I live in an entirely different state and she would not approve to have my money refunded. She was very rude over the phone when explaining that it took 20 mins to get ahold of thier location because I was at the location the food was supposed to be sent to and had to talk to then and call Chow Now.
Update: I spoke to Joshua Wang who is the business owner who was also rude. I explained that between placing the order on ChowNow, calling thier store ( which was not 20mins) , Chow Now calling them, and then recalling the store I still was met with such disrespect and hostility. Chow Now explained there was a glitch and didnt understand why my order would be placed in an entirely different state since it goes off of your current location. Joshua states my order had to be thrown away but in another statement says it was donated to the homeless which I do not believe happened at all but was trying to save face. Response to owner :Funny enough, Josh I did preorder through your app. I even waited 20 minutes to come in, then another painstaking 27 minutes once at your establishment. ANDRE was working the prep station, and a younger, stocky black male (who was overly flustered and the major contributor of your disorganization). I would be glad to provide a time and transaction receipt so you can verify my claims.
