Edit: I ordered again recently and had another bad experience with Slice which is the app they use for deliveries. They delivered my pizza to the wrong address but yet never even marked my order as delivered. When I contacted them they acted like it was no big deal and couldn’t process my refund. Instead they told me they would escalate my concern and if receive an email within 24-48 hours. So I called the restaurant and they weren’t much better. Instead they gave me the delivery driver to speak to who insisted he delivered the pizza and refused to acknowledge the mistake. I love their pizza but won’t be ordering again due to their horrible customer service. I didn’t get get an apology for the mistake. Very rude! Plus the Slice app sells your info apparently too since I noticed that while looking through the app.
Edit: I did just recently get to try the pizza and Slice delivered it so they seem to be improving. I changed my review to reflect that and the pizza was delicious. This was my previous one star review from when the restaurant first opened and Slice never delivered my pizza:
I was thrilled to discover a pizzeria that offers vegan pizza but I was very disappointed when I never received my order. I ordered on Google and selected Slice as my delivery service. I called Slice after an hour to find out where my pizza was and they told me it would be here shortly. After another 15 minutes, I noticed Google said my order had been delivered so I called them again. They told me they would call the restaurant to find out where my order was. They told me they were going to call the driver and call me back which they never did. At this point I was furious. I called the restaurant again and asked for a refund. They hung up on me! So I called yet again and asked to speak to the manager. He finally told me that the driver had been in an accident and didn’t tell anyone and that they were making me a new pizza and that he planned to deliver it personally. Read moreI ordered online, and the app told me my pizzas would be ready between 6:35 and 6:45. My son arrived at the store at 6:30 to ensure that we'd be getting the pizzas straight out of the oven. In fact, the pies were already done and boxed when he arrived, and they must have been sitting for a good while because when he got them home (a 3-minute drive) they were cold, rubbery and tasteless. I had high hopes from the very positive reviews, but was very disappointed.
UPDATE: The owner called me to apologize for my experience, explaining that they have had similar issues with the online ordering app giving imprecise order-ready times. He said their normal procedure is to call customers with updates on when their order would be ready, but that didn't happen with my order. He very graciously offered to comp me on my next order. I don't eat pizza very often, but next time I do I will definitely give this place a second chance, as the owner is obviously someone who cares very much about his customers' satisfaction. Instead of sending me away, Brent and his team asked me if I wanted a slice of the pizza they were taking home.
