I am writing this review with about a weeks worth of going back and forth as to comment or just let it go but as me and my husband keep thinking about our experience at this location we decided it needs to be said. Me and my husband were looking forward to a date night at this location and we were both craving Italian food. We passed by Olive Garden and Spaghetti Factory because i was really craving the Carrabba Alfredo. Upon our arrival we walked in and noticed a menu on the floor at first sight there were two boys greeting and seating customers that just kept ignoring it so I picked it up for them. That kinda through off my vibe but tried to ignore it and just focus on our date. We were seated in a booth next to the bar witch we didn't mind because we decided to order a bottle of wine to make our date a little more special. There was only one option of white whine witch was $40.00 so we thought it should be a some what decent brand for that price. It ended up being "Josh " brand that costs about 15-20 dollars at the grocery store. I chose not to spoil the night by complaining about it. We were asked if we wanted the complimentary bread and water right off the bat of course we said yes. We waited about 15 minutes before getting the wine first than another 15 minutes before the waiter said the bread was almost done we put in our order my husband ordered the salmon plate that costed around $25.00 we've both had our entrees before at this location and never had any issues. About another 15 minutes goes by and we finally get everything all at once the wine, bread our salad and our entrees we noticed that the waiter was pretty busy so we figured he was doing the best he could on getting our items to us in the right order. We start eating and i felt like something was missing but wasn't sure my salad was just ok but it was missing something I couldn't put my finger on at the time being. We get through halfway eating our entrees and my husband notices that about a quarter of his salmon is still raw he ate the rest of the pasta on the plate and called the waiter to let him know the fish wasn't cooked all the way the waiter asked what he could do to fix it. We weren't sure what to say we just thought he should know he asked my husband if he wanted him to bring him another "chunk" of salmon cooked properly so he said yes we didn't expect them to just give us a whole fillet we just wanted it to be fare some how since we did pay 25.00 for his plate. The waiter leaves and we continue to try to finish what we still had on the table then the kitchen manager or who ever she was came and asked if we wanted her to take the raw fish off his plate and cook it better because they couldn't just give us a whole other fillet. We didn't expect anything more than for it to be fare but he also didn't want the same raw chunk to be taken back to be recooked. So we decided to just get a piece of tiramisu to make up for the mistake. The look she gave us was as if we were trying to get more than what we were paying for there wasn't even an apology we felt like we got treated poorly because maybe we didn't look like we could afford what we were eating and just wanted to get over on them. Shortly after that the bus boy/man comes to the table behind me and starts cleaning off the booth and slamming dishes so hard right behind my head it almost felt like intimidation because we complained. We finish our food and we leave a tip accordingly to the total price witch was 20.00 we spent a little over 100.00 for our food and wine. I am a Christian woman and I know the right thing to do is not get angry and accuse people of doing something not intended and I felt like the waiter did the best he could considering how busy he was until we were leaving and i noticed that he was putting shredded parmesan on other peoples food. That's when i figured out why my salad was missing something. Needless to say we will never go back to this location our experience was not good from...
Read moreWe first had to wait for over 5 minutes to be seated, even though we were the 2nd people there after opening. They sat us in the bar area instead of the restaurant area without an explanation. We then had to wait for another 10 minutes to even see our waitress.
The bread was delivered to our table. The dipping oil/garlic was good, but it was very salty in some spots. The menu has very few non-chicken/seafood choices for those with allergies or other preferences.
The soup was good. My Fettuccine Weesie was delicious! This is how they got the 2nd star. The shrimp and mushrooms were cooked perfectly and the shrimp had a good and meaty tasting/texture.
My wife's Lasagna was another story. Instead of a nice thick tomato sauce, it had a thin/runny almost tomato juice.
Overall the service was slow (they told us they had only 1 cook), the food averaged out to good, and the prices were high for the portions received.
We finally went to pay with a gift card we had received. They told us it would not accept it (we verified later that it was a good card).
We will go to another Italian restaurant instead of Carraba's from now on.
Follow-up:
I followed the direction of Carrabba's comment to this review. I copied and pasted the identical review onto their website comments section.
I have not received anything back from them. Weeks later I have not received any further communications about my complaints nor have I been offered anything to recompense me. The only thing I HAVE received is a flood of junk mail to my email account. They send multiple offers per week to come and spend my money with them
Thanks for nothing Carrabba's! You just caused me to remove a star from my review. I would take them all...
Read moreAbsolutely TERRIBLE! Dined in 6/30/2025. Fire this manager ASAP! I know better to go to a place like this for an anniversary dinner but due to daughters nap we decided this would work best in the situation.
Almost ALL food was incorrect as well as terrible timing of serving items. Soup/salads came out more than 30 mins after ordering and literally 3 mins before awful main courses.
Filet had ZERO flavor, left over half of ALL food ordered to be thrown away along with chicken "breast" that was way over cooked and smaller then my fork head, picture included.
The only acceptable item was a side of Alfredo pasta we ordered our daughter.
Waiter forgot all extras, took forever, but was at least nice enough.
We paid, in disgust, our entire $100 bill with additional 20% tip, despite being clear our service and food was disgusting, appalling, and ruined our anniversary dinner.
The current Manager, who knowing how bad it was never talked to us, and kitchen staff need to be fired ASAP. After 10 years of regular patronage, we will NEVER be back and hope nobody else makes the mistake we did by going there, dining in or giving them our money.
Note- restaurant was about 25% full, no excuses for bad service and even worse food. This was literally the worst experience we have ever had, at ANY chain restaurant.
Do yourself a favor, go to a different location or a reputable locally owned establishment, this location doesn't deserve the amount they charge with poor quality and...
