Denny's — Restaurant in Westminster

From start to finish this was a disappointing experience. Came in around 7:45 pm and was met with an immediate wait with no greeting for about 5 minutes. After we were seated, we had to ask the manager to wash the table again because it was sticky. We then had to move tables because the support beam against the wall was intruding on our table. After we moved, we were greeted by what seemed to be the only waitress working and was served drinks pretty quickly. I should probably mention the four of us were, literally, the only table in the entire restaurant. After we got our drinks and put in our order, we proceeded to wait for almost 40 minutes. After that, we noticed most of our food was just sitting under the heat lamp at which point we asked our waitress, who had just started helping another family who had just sat down, to please just bring the kids spaghetti because he was getting very fussy. After about ten more minutes of taking orders and walking around and standing, she finally brought over the spaghetti. By this point it was about 8:30 and we were just now being served. Unfortunately, we were still missing French toast for one of the orders and the other two pancake breakfasts were now soggy and lacking in toppings. I asked for another side of the bourbon apple topping as well as the extra scoop of ice cream my friend had ordered originally. The waitress seemed a little overwhelmed from these two tables and forgot several more items including a chocolate milk and sliced apples. By 8:55 pm we were quite irritated and disappointed in everything from the service to the food quality. Even after we were all finished, not one dish was removed from the table until well after we were gone. We tried to give this place a chance but proved us to be fools...

Here on a Monday night at 11:30pm. Wanted 2 eggs,toast and hash browns. Good luck finding that for less than $15. Unbelievable. Server had no good suggestions. They have done away with the 55+ menu. First coffee was horrible -really nasty—(tasted like it had been on the burner for hours—which it probably had)—you know that color when you add cream—and barely changes hue… and I added 3 creamers to first cup hoping it would change. My server said it was “freshly brewed”—lol… NO WAY THAT WAS TRUE. I did ask for fresh coffee and second try was a win— tasted fresh. Good Denny’s coffee. (Don’t lie about a fresh brew, Server. ☹️) Whoever was cooking actually knew how to do basted eggs—so kudos to him. Thanked him on the way out. Hashed browns fine. Toast was really dark and cold with slogs of unmelted butter. Left 2.5 slices there…☹️ I was only person in the place—and I can see why. This (Gen Z?)Server only returned to check on food or other needs/matters when meal was done, even though there were no other customers in the restaurant. (Service sucked.)

Atmosphere: clean, pleasant, free and ample parking

Value is horrible. Final bill for 2 basted eggs, hashed browns, burnt toast and coffee with do-overs and terrible service was over $18. Wow. Won’t be back.

So I'm gonna start by saying Dennys is by far one of mine and my husband's favorite places to eat it's always quick the food is good and its well priced. The staff are usually friendly it's just an all around good place to eat. However this is the first time we have been to this Dennys and we will never be going back. We get there and get a seat right by the front where you pay. We got seated and then 10 min later the lady that sat us finally came to ask us for drinks then it took 10 more min to come back with our drinks. She said someone would be there soon to take our order after she drops off our drinks. Now let me say the place wasn't extremely busy and we counted atleast 6 women working or standing near the kitchen that had Dennys uniforms on. But still 20 min later a different girl came to take our order. So that's 40 min before out order was taken. We chalked it up we were patient but then it took another 25 min to get our food and a different waitress brought our food and she dropped the plates so we had to wait again for our food which eventhough we were already sick of waiting we weren't mad about because that is an uncontrollable thing. The part that makes me give a bad review is that Dennys is usually a very quick dine in restaurants which is why we like it so much. And with all the staff they had on that day it shouldn't have taken so long to...
