Down Under Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Westminster

I enjoy this place early. It has a "cheers" type atmosphere, where the bartenders really do remember your name, drink and story. Overall, it is a basement bar, not at all fancy, the menu is very limited and after 9 it gets rather lively with the college crowd. There I dancing and everyone has a great time. For me and my group, it is a nice place to have ice cold beer with friends and family after work or a long week. The staff is top shelf, the regular "early crowd" are all like family (yet extremely diverse). If you stop in before 9 to have a beer and relax, you will become a part of the family! After 9 I leave because I am old, but it is generally packed so they must be doing...

It's a college bar, and it's cash only! Minimal cell signal being downstairs. There were many TVs, video games, several pool tables, and a DJ with a dance floor in the back area. The music was thunderous, as expected. We came in pretty late, and when we weren't carded on the way in, I knew we were much older than anyone else at the sports bar. We only came to drink, listen to music, and dance, so I don't know their food, even if they had food there. Again, it is what you expect of a college bar. Don’t go to down under. Last night a guy had rocked my bestfriend. The bartenders didn’t do anything neither did the bouncers. The guy walked of Scott free while my buddy is fighting for his life in shock trauma right now. The bouncers tried to fight me instead of diffusing the situation. We are trying to find the guy who is responsible.
