Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Westminster

My girlfriend and I are both servers and bartenders and are very easy going and understanding when mistakes are made or when things get busy. Our server, Danielle, was nice but the service we received from her today was absolutely terrible.

We arrived around 1:30 and were told it was going to be a 5-10 minute wait. No big deal. We were sat in a timely manner but that’s where the good service pretty much ends. It took another 10 minutes before we were ever greeted but we were patient and figured maybe a few tables had just left and she was busy. We put in our appetizer on the tablet while we waited for her. When she finally arrived we asked for waters and had a few questions about the menu but she seemed to have very little product knowledge. I ordered the lunch duo with endless soup and salad and my girlfriend ordered endless BYO pasta with soup thinking she’d be able to get through one pasta and possibly order one more. After my girl ordered, our waitress told her she should get the spinach and artichoke sauce because it’s new and supposedly good. It then took 10-15 minutes for her just to bring out the soup and salad. The restaurant had MAYBE 10 tables sat total and our server only had one other table other than us so we knew the wait wasn’t due to it being busy. When they finally arrived, we had to remind her again for some waters which took another 5 minutes. Another 20-25 minutes went by before we were ever checked on again and by that time the soup and salad was long gone and we were ready for more. When she finally came back we ordered another round which took another 10 minutes to receive. My girlfriend and I still hadn’t gotten our pastas at this point so we asked her when they might be up because the three tables around us had all sat at the same time as us and received their food long before us. She told us that “they were up next” and she returned five minutes later with them. However once we got them, it was clearly noticeable that our food had been sitting in the window dying for quite some time before she brought it out to us because it was dried up and lukewarm. My girlfriend didn’t like hers at all and at this point we had waited 45+ minutes for our pasta which made the endless portion absolutely pointless. We weren’t about to wait another 45 minutes for more. She asked the waitress if she could get the lunch duo instead and get a different pasta which she said was okay. This pasta came out less than 10 minutes later and was piping hot. So we knew that it wasn’t the kitchen that was slacking. She then went MIA and walked by us numerous times without glancing or checking on us. After being there for 2 hours we finally just got boxes for our food so we could get out of there. Never going back...

You scammed us last summer and I told you I would update my review everything we thought about eating at your place just to let you know that we chose not to because of how you treated us. A party of 4 will be eating elsewhere and we do tip 50%

Basically last summer the waiter lied and told us "you can only have a soup or a salad" even though the menu says both are endless. Then I don't remember exactly what I ordered but I was suppose to receive a second plate with my ordwe but the waiter literally came over EVERY 90 SECONDS to ask if I was ready to pay and leave BEFORE the first entre came out..... which was only a half portion of the first portion. I thought this place is seriously trying to cut back on food waste!!! But no biggie, I'll eat this then order the next to come out.

(( I can verify I was asked if I was ready to pay and leave every 90 seconds bc I texted my partner every time plus you have cameras so we both have time logs. ))

I had my laptop out trying to do work which should of been a hint but nooooooooo. I finally paid after the 7th ask thinking the waiter had to clear their section to clock out, ys know trying to be nice.

After I paid i stayed on my laptop. Then asked for the second portion. I was told no bc I already paid.

My total visit time was 19 minutes when I planned on staying a little over an hour to do some work while my house was being fumigated if the restaurant was dead, which it was so my staying should not of been a problem.

The manager said that it was not right and gave me a full refund however I witnessed that waiter doing the same thing to 4 other tables so we can confirm it is a scam and common place (possibility to save on food cost)

We will NEVER EVER EVER eat a OG, ever again. And if I hear of anyone in my household mentioning it I will talk them out of it.

The route you have chosen to save on food costs is not okay.

Either way i told the manager i would update my review when we chose not to eat at your establishment and I'll keep to my word. My friends wanted OG but I said no so we went furthur up Sheridan. Our total was for lunch up the street $112 for 4 people. I tipped 50% and the other 3 tipped $20 each. (We're all former waitresses)

Hopefully your waiters have stopped begging custies every 90 seconds to leave bc we won't come back.

Oh and learn the difference in "your meal comes with breadsticks, soup & salad"

Learn the LEGAL obligation in commas (which means both) and the word and/or on a menu. You do not have the option to refuse what it on a menu without...

Food was great! Good prices. Walk in asked for a table for two.had to wait a little bit which was fine. But there was a waiter standing there and walking back and forth counting his tip money!?! I mean really, do it in back not in front of guests waiting to be seated. What made it worse!? My sister and I were seated in his section. He would only talk to my sister like I wasn't there. We ordered wine and a beer and ice water. When he came back with the wine and beer he ask my sister if we were ready to order. We decided to have an appetizer, he asked if we were ready to order our meal we told him we would order that after we received the appetizer. We got the appetizer still no water! We ordered our meals. He brought the salad . We were finishing our salad he brought our meals ask about parmesan we said no thank you he immediately left to talk to another table that was leaving still no water. Three quarters of the way through our meal he finally comes back, asking if there was anything else? I said yes a coke and ice water no sense in asking for bread sticks. He brought the water and coke and stood there talking to my sister about the meal as I gave her the water she had asked for when we were seated. We finished our meal he asked mysister if she wanted dessert she ordered what she wanted he started to walk away when I told him I wanted moosecake . We wanted it to go as well, he brought it to us and brought up the bill on the little table top computer and gave it to my sister. I took it from her and proceeded to pay the bill! It was $103. and change. He almost got a $5 tip i gave him a $10 tip in stead. Kind heart on my part. As far as I am concerned he should be let go! At the minimum completely re trained with a write up. The worst service I have ever gotten there! He really ruined the evening! He really pissed...
