Do not waste your money or time. This place is a total rip off.
Please keep in mind I am a Colorado native and used to love taco John's, I would frequent it during my youth and later on at their old facility in Fort Collins on the way to Red feathers for a family camping trip.
But most of the restaurants closed and very few were left and it seems Taco John's is trying to make a come back.
After my recent experience I would say their success is not looking very good.
Buy a super burrito meal with some potato Ole,s and a soda and drop 10 bucks. Oh yeah a side of cheese sauce so the total came to nine dollars and change. You will get a super burrito, I love the "SUPER" part LOL it Will be not much bigger in diameter then one of the potato Ole,s. In comparison to say a burrito supreme from Taco Bell witch is yeah so so or a macho burrito from Del Taco which truly is the bomb. This place is failing big-time.
I was so disgusted that I literally and this is no joke took the entire meal untouched back to the counter and left it there. When I told the manager on duty I want my money back and held up the "Super Burrito" and said are you kidding me? Her response in a smug I don't care attitude was not I'm sorry sir can I get you something else or can we make you a new one. It was we weigh them and unless we make a mistake we do not give refunds. At this point of total discuss and not getting my moneys worth. I informed her you know what I don't care I will leave it and go somewhere else.
At no point did she even introduce herself, I had to ask her for her name. Not good
I also voiced my concern/feedback to their corporate headquarters via snail mail and their website email including my sales receipt and the name of the on-duty manager that I had to ask her for her name. After almost a month I have heard nothing back.
Note to manager if you choose to respond please spare me the cut and paste response that I have read on every single post here. Your corporate headquarters already have my letter via snail mail and also email via...
Read moreThis store really needs to train the evening shift, especially the assistant manager on customer service. My friend went through the drive thru a few hours ago. When she came home I noticed my order was wrong. So, I went back to get my order fixed. First, they were just standing around and ignoring the front. I had to ask three times, "can someone help me"? Than the assistant manager came up. I had told him that my order was put through wrong. He got upset with me. Instead of apologizing he was arguing with me about how my friend ordered wrong. He said he repeated the order back. I said I don't know what happened but I didn't order this my husband is a vegetarian, these items have meat in them. I said I ordered a potato ole with no meat. I was given a super burrito and a side of beans. He was super rude to me and acting like a toddler. He first stopmed to back and than kept banging things around to hint to me he was mad. You could tell he was upset his voice was starting to raise as well and of course the stopping around. Next, I did was ask if could tell me which burrito was mine, I got a steak burrito for myself since I eat meat. He got mad took the burritos and tossed them in the trash without saying anything. After that he continued to argue with me. Finally I asked for my money back on the ole, since he tossed my food. I got my money back but i also got unnecessary drama which wasn't what I expected. All I wanted to do was exchange and pay the difference nothing else. I'm in here regularly mainly during the day. The day staff is super nice and take care of their customers. I was super disappointed in the service tonight. Especially, when I'm walking in here with my son who is overly tired and hungry. We didn't even get our food because it was tossed in the trash. I hope in the future you can train managers and staff members on customer service. I won't be returning to...
Read moreI was an Employee at Taco John's Westminster, and it was my first ever job, and I am only 15.Working at this establishment, was honestly one experience I would love to take back. The Assistant Manager, and parts of the crew were wonderful, so in no means am I trying to "throw them underneath the bus." First of all, I was fired on Sunday, March 12th, over an incident on Wednesday, March 8th, which regarded me being asked to leave by Sandra, the General Manager, because I messed up two orders in a few hour period, and when I left, she heard me say something, which I never said and she never told me what it was. But, honestly, the favoritism in this building is astonishing, I mean there are two girls in particular who are almost 30 minutes to 2 hours late every time they work, and there is a policy that 3 no-calls, no-shows ends up being a immediate termination of your job. WELL, GUESS WHO HAS THEIR JOBS STILL. They both cuss, in front of the manager, also. And apparently because I said something when I was told to go home, I was immediately told to turn in my uniform and leave. But, this isn't all. The new night manager, who is the General Managers son, he sits in the cooking line and calls people the N word, and laughs and makes fun of customers, he also swears in front of his mom, but he is still offered his job. The final thing, I want to address is when I asked for more hours because this is a minimum wage job, I was cut down to two days a week, and only two hours for both of those days, and yes, I know the Colorado Law, is under 16 year olds are only allowed to work two hour shifts on School Nights, I understand that but its still frustrating (and this happened to my friend who used to work there...
