I am writing this understanding that it's a tough job to work with the public, but having said that, I'm comparing this service against other establishments who deal with the same public. This Chipotle is the worst and it's such a shame because it used to be so great (pre-pandemic). It has a huge dining room, much larger than other ones and the employees that worked there were so nice and efficient. I know they didn't have enough employees for a couple weeks, but now that they appear to be more fully staffed, I think it's just poor management. First, they seem like they are always out of something...cheese (how do you run out of cheese?!?), salsa, hard shells, cups). Second, they always are running out of stuff on the line and then try to skimp on the ingredients just to make it through your order...if you ask for more, they act like you're really putting them out because they have to go in the back. Third, they have so much random stuff go wrong here...dining room is closed, C02 leak in the restaurant, credit card machine broken, pop machine broken, fountain machine closed due to soda shortage (really? You're the only one experiencing that) etc. It's just a mess. By the way, it is a literal mess too. I've walked out because of how dirty it looked and I've heard people do the same.
What I think the main problem is that everyone is miserable there. You ask if they have hard shelled tacos and they say "NOPE" and don't look up. You ask them for more cheese and they seem put out. At most chipotle's you can tell who the manager is because they are more courteous and kind, but the people I think are the managers (a guy and a middle-aged lady) are neither. If the managers hate working there, you can see why everyone else would too. Chipotle, do yourself a favor and either get new management in this place or just shut it down, it's...

I had interactions with three employees. The first was fairly slow, but appeared to be in training, so I understand that can happen. The second appeared to be the manager. She was bossy and irritated with everyone, including me. I saw they were making white rice in the back and politely asked how much longer it would be (I'd already waited 20 minutes, so what is a few more). She snapped at me and said they didn't have any white rice and wouldn't. I explained that my child would only eat the white rice (I could clearly see it being made right behind her) and I wouldn't mind if the person behind me went first. I was trying to not hold up the line. She then snapped at the crew on the back line. The person behind me also wanted white rice so we offered to let the person behind him go. She yelled at them again. Nobody in line was being impatient, she could have been nice. Then she moved to cashier and another girl helped. She was kind and fast. I asked for extra cheese and the bosy redhead again snapped (this time at both of us) because I already had cheese under my guac. I truly feel bad for these employees and if they have to work with her, they all deserve a raise. The bosy and rude redhead yelling at everyone was clearly not striving for employee or customer...
Read moreI placed a catering order to serve 10 people (Build Your Own: Triple) and was supposed to receive 3 meat selections (steak, chicken, and carnitas). Instead I received all of the salsas and condiments along with 2 small containers of chicken-filled only halfway. I realized this when I got home and had guests arriving. I called the local number only to speak with a national customer service hub. The gentleman was very cordial but could only offer me some sort of compensation after a claim was submitted to the customer service department. He explained that there was no way for me or for him to directly contact the business. The local number takes you to the hub. In order for me to remedy the situation, I would have to drive back to the Chipotle and explain the missing meat situation to them. I had guests in my house ready to eat. There was no time to drive back, complain, and wait for them to prepare the meat. I ended up calling Las Palmas in Westmont. They not only answered their own phone, they immediately provided me with delicious steak, beef and chicken that a friend was able to pick up for me. We will never patronize the Chipotle at 300 E. Ogden Ave in Westmont again and will definitely stick with Las Palmas who answer their phone, are eager to help their customers out, and provide...
