First let me say we used to LOVE this place but obviously there is a new/different manager since we’ve last gone because HE could’ve CARED LESS when I called about our issue. This place should be boycotted so HE can see how much of an impact POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE has. He was just SO RUDE AND SARCASTIC, it was almost laughable that he was really the manager. Whoever owns this location really needs to hire a shopper and then get the feedback on how this manager behaves and treats customers. Town center is such a quaint relaxing place that locals visit and even vacationers, you should APPRECIATE your customers and realize it’s because of them that you’re even open for business, but I’ll tell YOU this, there are MANY MORE GREAT PIZZA PLACES CLOSE BY, just google pizza near me. This place isn’t even in the top 5. But we knew it well, it’s very close by, so we went.
Let me pose the question: who ever had a red sauced spinach pizza? NEVER IN MY LIFE was that ever an option!! Everyone knows a spinach pizza has a white sauce, consisting of garlic ricotta mozzarella cheese. Well an order was placed over the phone as a dinner birthday gift from an out of town person at this delvecchios in weston for me to pick up. The order included a spinach pizza, the person on the phone who took the order didn’t ask what kind of spinach pizza, white or red? We thought it was because there was only ONE KIND, WHITE! But when I got home and opened the box, to my surprise it looked like the margherita pizza were also got! I was shocked, I called, the person told me he was sorry he didn’t confirm which kind of spinach pizza we wanted, white or red sauce, but when I called back to speak to the manger he was very obstinate and argumentative and said he would “reprimand “ the counter help. I told him it’s on him as the manger not on the order taker/counter help. I went on to ask him that if his restaurant offers 2 kinds of spinach pizza shouldn’t they confirm which one the customer wants? Where I’m from, (up north) there’s only ONE KIND, WHITE. So we didn’t know any different. This manager was very rude and said “I don’t know what you want”, “you need to say you want a white pie”!! Also from where I’m from,( up north) the customer is always right, it’s because of the customers that you even have a business, so keep that in mind! I see past customer service reviews and you have issues with this. You have poor customer service reviews. You handled this situation very poorly. I’d like the owner to reach out and if it’s you, you need to reflect on how you handled this situation and work to correct it and if you really don’t care, then close up shop because you don’t deserve to have...
Read moreOrder through Grub Hub Delivery driver by the name of Juan “your best driver” claims to have hand delivered my order to a male in his 20s at my home, 4 people live at my home 2 adults well over 20 and 2 children. The girl who answered the phone said there was nothing she could do since the order was “handed to the man at my house” my husband whom I had on speaker then said we wouldn’t be calling to say we didn’t get pizza we have kids waiting on pizza, She replied that her driver wouldn’t lie so I guess we’re the liars, my husband then says I am on my way to the restaurant to show face and have the delivery driver identify that he handed pizza off to me. The call ended there we make it to the restaurant the doors are closed. Make it back home to have police cars in front of our house as if it’s a crime scene. According to the officers the girl at the restaurant called crying/ Shaken and said my husband threatened her and the driver and that he arrived at the restaurant banging on windows pulling on the doors. SERIOUSLY!!! I went to the restaurant with my husband, he pulled the one door handle that was available it was locked, all the other doors had tables in front, so I want to know what doors did he bang on and pull on? No way a threat was made to anyone! I’m really offended that this even occurred and taken to this extreme my kids were frightened never again will I order from DelVecchio’s. What was supposed to be family pizza night ended with a horrible experience due to lack of poor customer service and a horrible delivery guy there’s only one place in my community with the...
Read moreI ordered a pizza for delivery from their site. It said it would be 45 minutes to deliver. It was ordered via their website / slice app. I never received the pizza after over 1 hour and 15 minutes. I called slice, they lied and said it's on the way, after an additional 30 minutes, I called (chatbot) with slice and then the told me, it's still being prepared???. I then called the restaurant and they said they "lost" the order, offered to refund me but couldn't find the order... I said that I was hungry so I wanted the food. They told me the'd delivery it it in 40 minutes after taking my order again on the phone. . An hour passed, and I called them again, they said it's on its way. When it got here, the delivery driver insisted I sign a receipt that had nothing to do with my slice order. I received my order 2 hours and 45 minutes after it was placed on a Monday evening! I placed the order at 7:15, it was suppose to be delivered at 7:45-8:01pm but showed up at 9:45pm. The pizza and garlic rolls were cold. This is perhaps the worst service I've ever received. They get two stars because at least they answered the phone and tried to help. Don't use slice, don't order food from here, they don't deserve your business, the Pizza probably would have been good if it were at least warm.. but with all the Pizza providers in the neighborhood, I'm sure you could find someone who provided a better customer...
