Yeah food was fine, it’s McDonald’s, you know what your getting when you drive through. Last night my grandson asked to go there (who would have thought) and we were driving through White House TN and we went through the drive through. I placed an order from the buy and get one for a dollar (those didn’t get included but wasn’t charged the extra buck either. So a double cheeseburger, fries and a sprite for my grandson and a spicy crispy chicken deluxe meal for me. Paid for it and was told to go park in slot 4 and they will bring it out. Well there was already a car in 4 so I go to 5. Fear already that this will go wrong, but they usually ask about your order, I rolled down my passenger window when they brought out the order for the guy in 4, the employee says, “you got a spicy chicken?” Guy says yes, sack is passed and he is gone. Little while later a guy comes out a hands me a sack and says, yes you guessed it, “you got a spicy chicken?,” I say yes and he gives me the sack, I know this is going to be wrong. It has 8 or 10 spicy chicken sandwiches and a large fries. I ask the lady in 6 if this could be hers, it isn’t, I take it back in, hand them my receipt and say this isn’t mine. They take my receipt and say nothing, I assume they have gone to correct my order. I see them take the stuff out of the sack I brought back, put it in a different sack and take it out to the lady in 6, that already told me it wasn’t hers, I know she will be coming in, ha. In a minute she is in the door, looks at me says, “ they regifted what you brought back in,” I just shook my head head laughing, knew it, lol. We then got our order, correct, hot, fresh and good by fast food standards. What happened to guy before me that was expecting 8 to 10 sandwiches and headed down the interstate with 2 sandwiches and 2 fries? Sorry. All turned out well but 30 minutes in the drive through want part of the evening plan on a school night with an hour still to drive. Nice McDonald’s on the inside, but I shouldn’t have...
Read moreI’m being generous with the two stars because the food wasn’t terrible. It was far from great.
The lobby was disgusting. Almost no tables were clean. The trash from all bins was full and overflowing. The condiments were empty; no ketchup from either machine, ice out in one, messy drink machines, no napkins. You get the picture. While waiting for our food, it seemed like utter chaos in the food prep area, yet there were 4-5 young ladies working that were just standing around. I’m sure a couple of them could’ve been instructed to start cleaning and restocking, but there was no clear management in sight.
We decided to pick a seat in the back towards the restrooms. Let’s talk about those! My wife and I discussed them during our meal. Both were in need of shutting down and completely being restocked and fully sanitized. The men’s commode has crusty feces all along the bottom of the seat. There was toilet paper all over the floor in both, no paper towels in both. My wife stated that the smaller stall in the women’s restroom had urine all over the seat. The larger stall had a toilet that was barely flushing. The small and large trash bins were full with trash littering the floor.
We used to stop here regularly during road trips, but will be finding a new place to stop for meals. There is an Arby’s next door that didn’t look very busy. If you’re looking for a place to stop, definitely consider the...
Read moreIn my opinion, The kiosk is only necessary when there is a line. I arrive without any line I was still asked use the kiosk. I obviously had my hands full with two kids. Not the best time for me. One of my children I had to use the restroom. Unfortunately she wasn’t able to make it in time and ended up going on the floor. I don’t think it’s appropriate for other people to clean the stuff up so I cleaned it up myself. However, I was harassed multiple times about where to put my food whether or not some random hotel keys were mine. I explained that my daughter figured out how to lock the door but not how to unlock the door and was currently locked in the bathroom stall. I also explained that I was trying to hand her paper towels to get cleaned up. Nobody offered to help unlock the door. The salad was only a bowl of lettuce without any toppings. Not as advertised and the fries were icy cold. I could not ask them to correct it on the kiosk. Regardless, I wouldn’t of had time since I needed to rush back and get a new pair pants for my child. Here’s what I would’ve preferred.
Yes I see that I’m busy and offered to help or get out of my way. Don’t tell me that I have to use the kiosk if don’t want to. If you ask me a question and I give you an answer don’t come back a few minutes later and ask me again. If I tell you there’s an emergency...
