One star is far too generous for this location. When my family eats fast food, it is almost always Taco Bell. We just moved back from out of state & LOVED the people, quality of food, and service we got at the TB in that location. Now we are living in White House for a short time and honestly, it has been SO bad, I question why we continue to go back time and time again, only to be disappointed. But, this IS White House and we are vegetarian, so for fast food, it is our only option here. Tonight, I reached the end of my fuse. I am pregnant- cravings like crazy- and needed a late night power bowl fix. My husband made the run out for me because he is a sweetheart, and got to the window at 10:23 pm. He ordered a power bowl and was immediately told by the girl working that they can’t serve the Cantina menu after a certain time of night so he would have to get something else. Well, the veggie power bowl menu consists of very little- rice, black beans, a few shreds of lettuc because this is the stingiest Taco Bell known to man, guacamole, pico de gaio, cheese, and avocado ranch. Now tell me that lettuce, beans, and rice AREN’T the main ingredient of just about EVERYTHING on the menu. Oh yeah- THEY ARE! So, I had to investigate. Meanwhile my husband orders me something else. I check the FAQ section of the TB app and find that they only serve lettuce and black beans from 11am-11pm. Still odd for a mega chain who makes their money off of all things beans and lettuce and is open until 1am, but okay. I may not know why, but I suppose there is likely a reason for this. Fine. But there is still an issue here- my husband was at the drive thru placing that order at 10:23. That’s not 11 o’clock, is it? Nope! So I call my husband back and say, “Hey, their website says they only serve it until 11, but you ordered over 30 minutes prior to that time, and even now- it STILL isn’t 11. Will you ask them what the deal is?” He calls me back and says the guy at the window said that they do it per the franchise, and that time ends at 10:30. My husband is over these goons and isn’t interested in arguing with them, so he didn’t, however, I’m fuming over the fact that they’re STILL trying to justify something that is unjustifiable. If you serve it until 10:30 and I order it at 10:29- TOUGH! So then! My husband checks our order- ALWAYS, always, always do that at this location because 9 times out of 10, something is messed up. Well, I did a mobile order for my replacement meal for the power bowl- I find it is easier because there is a trail and that way things can’t as easily be lost in translation. So, I ordered a mini chicken quesadilla, with no chicken. To all of you who aren’t TB affecianados like myself (I say, ashamed lol) All a chicken quesadilla is, is chicken, cheese, sauce, wrapped up in a tortilla. Remove the chicken and it becomes even more simple. Not for these guys! They didn’t put chicken in it, but instead, they added potatoes and jalapeños. What on earth?? So now my husband gets to go back through a third time and wait in line forever to fix a mistake that NO ONE at that location gives a flip about. This isn’t just me complaining about one bad experience. It takes a lot to push me to the edge of leaving a nasty review and calling the store manager- and corporate- tomorrow. They forget to put food in the bag, put meat when we replaced it with beans, forget extras like drinks, sauces, cinnamon sticks. It is ALWAYS something with them. And when they DO manage to get something right, anything we remove meat from & add beans to, they DROWN in refried beans & don’t put any sauce on it. No one wants a mouth full of tortilla & a massive wad of overly dry beans! These “kids,” because that’s exactly what they are- don’t give a flying flip about their job or the quality of service or food they provide. They are there to do the absolute minimum & collect a paycheck. They are never pleasant, never smile, never apologize, and are inconvienced when they have to fix something THEY messed up out of sheer laziness. Go to the Hendersonville...
Read moreI went to taco bell today for my lunch break and had an interesting experience involving a manager. I went inside to order because drive thru was busy and hoped that maybe it might speed up my order to do so. The lady at the register (found out she was the manager) took my order. While waiting I noticed that they had their very elusive pineapple whip freezes back on the menu and made a comment, for small talk purposes, about them. Her response was curt and a little rude but I ignored it because they were busy and I know how that is. I sat down to wait for my food and then 3 more, seperate, people came in. They stood and waited for service for about 5 min. Plenty of people saw them standing there including the manager. I said that the lady with the red hair was the one who took my order and maybe you could call her over. 2 customers got a little irritable and left and the third I found out was actually a new hire. I waited about 10+min for my food (they were in kinda busy). I was looking around and saw that they had the get a new cup for a refill policy which lead me to believe that you could eat in. I looked around and saw a sign on the entrance that said open for carry out and dine in so I figured I would shove a few bites in my mouth and head back k to work...well...I got my food (nice guy brought it to the table) and it looked great. I started to take stuff out (the manager saw me doing this) I took about 3 bites and then she came over and said you can't eat in here. I pointed out the sign and she said that they have it covered. From my point of view I couldn't tell but I understood and started apologizing and she rudely (really didn't care what I had to say) interrupted to say "that is why I put this up" pointing out the string that honestly I had been seeing ever since they opened back up the inside. It was only to the left of the door right at the entrance...nowhere else. I started to apologize while packing up but she turned around and walked off. Honestly...I know that people can have off days but the attitude she had was not appropriate for a manager at all. I would expect it of a normal employee but not management. I have been a store manager for a food chain and cannot figure out why she was so rude. I was just a normal customer...no issues except that I honestly did not see the sign outside while walking in. I even tried to apologize multiple times...anyways....I don't know her name but I don't think she is a good fit for the role. 3 star for good food and the nice guy who brought...
Read moreI went to this Taco Bell shortly after the renovations were complete. We had a rather big order, so when some of the food was wrong, we politely let someone know. When we came back to have the food corrected, we even showed them the receipt and told them what was wrong. We STILL got the wrong food. We went back a couple of weeks ago. Significantly smaller order (only a couple of double chalupa boxes, one Spivey, soft supreme on the tacos supreme the chalupas). The chalupas were right. The tacos were soft, but not truly “supreme” they were absolutely LOADED with lettuce, not tomato, and a giant gob if sour cream on one end of the tacos, and the cinnamon twists were so stale, it hurt my teeth to bite into one. We thought we would give them another try Friday night. Same problem with my husband’s box with an added bonus, we were told they were out of cinnamon twists so my husband was supposed to get chips and cheese instead. They gave him the chips but no cheese. I ordered a Gordita crunch meal. Soft supreme on the tacos, supreme the Gordita. Yet again, LOADED with lettuce, almost no cheese, one giant gob of sour cream in one corner of the tortillas and no tomatoes. My daughter’s cheese roll ups were so old that the tortillas were stale and there was about an inch on either end that was just tortilla. We ordered my son 2 plain quesadillas. What he got was one with cheese (that actually had vegetables interspersed in the cheese - cross contamination) and their quesadilla sauce. Now when we say plain, it typically means just the tortilla and cheese, right? No sauce or anything, right? Apparently not. The other quesadilla had spicey chicken AND the sauce in it.
Three strikes, you’re out. Idk what happened to the staff that was there before the renovations, but this new staff absolutely sucks. They seem to not be able to get anything right. I will not be going back to...
