I have never been so disappointed with Chili's in my life! My "special needs" son loves Chili's and chooses them as his birthday meal yearly. However, it has been so loud there over recent years (loud music, patrons, staff, kitchen, etc.) that we had been using take out which was fine.
This year, we waited over an half hour for our food, thinking that our food would be piping hot when we received it. It was so cold and old tasting, looking and feeling. I was outranged!!! My son always eat in the car so that his food doesn't get cold. I hadn't pulled out of the parking space when he noticed that his fries were luke-warm and limpy. He was so sad, but begged me not to say anything since it was his birthday. He said that he just wanted to enjoy the rest of his day as much as possible. These people were not that busy. We got there about 6:20-6:30pm on a Sunday.
I decided to check my food, even worse! Noodles so cold that they sort of stuck together. Couldn't see any sauce. There was no flavor to them, as though they were boiled in plain water and placed in my plate after sitting around for a few days.
I informed the young lady at the front counter that I didn't like cilantro. She stated that I could get my Cajun Corn without cilantro. I said, ok. But when I received my Cajun Corn, which I paid an additional fee for, it was covered with large pieces of cilantro, burnt on each end and was the dryest corn I have ever had in my life! I wasn't able to pull it all off. I couldn't believe it.
My loaded potatoes were cold all the way through. I just couldn't understand how Chili's could dish out food so awful!!! This food could have very well have been several days old and given to us.
In addition, I was very irritated that we were asked to pay and give tip prior to receiving our order via the electronic machine/front counter assistant. Tips and payment shouldn't be asked for until food is ready and service is administered.
SHAME ON YOU CHILI'S! I tried to make sure my son had a very special day. You all were his only stain on his day!
My son knows that I would have made sure that I received my money back and not trusted them to refix my food so he didn't want me to go back in Chili's. My son said that he felt guilty since he chose Chili's. So, I just put my food aside. He tried to eat his as fast as he could before it got any colder.
I noticed while sitting there that Grub Hub people were coming there. One person captured my attention. He picked up one order immediately and waited about 25mins for the other. So, although I thought about using that option as I was sitting there, I changed my mind because the first person's order was just sitting there getting cold, while waiting for the other person's order to get done. Not Right!

RUN from this place!!! When I entered, I stood for 15 minutes and the host was nowhere to be found. I had to ask someone to get the host and then the host tried to seat me in the bar area at a table in the middle of the room to which I asked if there was another available table. He gave me attitude, rolled his eyes and seated me elsewhere. The restaurant is dirty and the bathrooms are equally dirty. The service was horrible. Took forever for the food to arrive and the appetizer which was the skillet queso looked like dog food. Appetizer was brought to the table cold, I asked if they could pop it in the microwave and then they brought it back 10 mins. later still at the same cold temperature. Waitress never returned to the table for drink refills. Ordered an iced tea and she brought a strawberry lemonade. She also added an item to the bill that was never ordered. I ordered fajitas thinking it would be a safe bet. Absolutely horrible!!! How can you screw up fajitas? I love salt but the steak was way overdone, super salty and you could tell the veggies were cooked with the steak, same spices, same ton of salt. Beans and rice were cold. I was starving and couldn't even finish half of it. The family in the booth behind me complained to the manager about the service and food. She said her food wasn't fresh to which he replied "our food is always fresh" and she also complained her steak was oversalted. He had an attitude and never apologized or offered to bring her anything else to compensate for the awful service. When he walked away, she told me to feel her corn which to my surprise was completely FROZEN!!!! They serve frozen corn and claim it's fresh. She also told me the same manager who was also the host that night tried to seat her at the table in the middle of the bar area, she asked for a different table and received attitude. I also complained to the same manager about the service and food and he copped an attitude and did nothing. The entire time I was there I saw 6 wait staff sitting around and socializing in a booth and table and doing absolutely nothing to wait on customers. Table was dirty, underneath tables are dirty. Read more(Sorry this is long,but please read) The location at the Avenue at White Marsh. I have to share this and I don't like doing it. On August 21st 2021 my Wife did a online order for curbside pick-up,in which we had done in the past. She was getting food for myself and the family. She order 2 cheese burgers from the 3for $10 menu as well as a margarita chicken as well. She arrived food was not ready yet,she sit do 15 minutes more and the food comes out. She is handed her drinks and food. After returning home and unpacking the meals,something was not right She noticed the chicken was just thrown in the box. The burgers were not cooked at all(As you will see in the pictures). She call them back,the staff member did not want to allow her to speak to a Manager. After final get the manager on the phone. After tell her the problem, there was no remorse from the manager, who said " Just bring it back I will refund your money ,for the 1 burger" . My then said let me sent you these pictures, because gas cast to much and it my be a problem if I came back to you. Her response with no I am sorry ,how can I make this up to you...NOTHING. I will refund your money back to your card...Well no refund came until I told her to send word to the corporate office. 3 day later the money was returned with no Is apology. I have never be treated so poorly in my life from a company, I had respected over the years.This was horrible. Myself and my family deserve a heart felt apology, hell that burger was for my 6 year Son. If he were to bit into that he would had gotten sick and I would be owning a restaurant. And to think of the money I have spent over the years at different locations and now this sorry for the 1 star it would not let me get any lower.
