If I could give zero stars I would. This place systematically gets our order wrong evey time we go there, but that's not even my issue with them. It's conveniently located next to Walmart except its not even remotely convenient (in case anyone wants to say "why do you go back then"). The staff not only got our order completely wrong by one entire meal (as usual), they charged us at the back window for the wrong order. Okay. No biggie, but the debaucle to get my money back and the correct order given to me took a lenghty amount of time and the drive-thru line wrapped up around the building while we waited for them to correct everything. Then when I let her know that the order still wasn't correct and was missing a meal, the front window girl told me the back window girl never input it and there was nothing she could do, she shrugged at me, rolled her eyes, and shut the window when I asked if I should just go back around then or what. I attempted to circle back to the drive thru to get the missing meal reordered but the line was insanely long at this point and you couldn't even get around that side because cars were lined up to the road. I'll drive the 10 minutes out of my way go to the McDs at the bottom of Oakland Ave because a wrong order is one thing, but to make a mistake on your part and be rude to the customer about it is uncalled for. I've worked in the food industry a long time. If I treated a customer the way I was treated today, I'd be out of business. They need...
Read moreThis location is notorious for serving cold fries. I drove through there today, I was in a rush and didn't have time to go across town to the other location, and no other fast food restaurants on the way I was going. And, of course, the fries were cold. And I had forgot to specify that I wanted them "FRESH". When I handed them back to the lady working the window she was extremely nice about it, but there was someone inside screaming, "Did they order it "FRESH"????" Which, since I have a son that worked at another location for a little while before getting a better job, I know that if you order it "fresh" they have to make it fresh right then and you don't get anything that has been sitting, but if you're not in the "know" you have no idea that they plan to automatically serve you food that has been sitting or that you can actually do that. Maybe it's just me, but I automatically expect my food to be fresh and hot. That should be a point of PRIDE with any restaurant to do their best. I don't see them putting "cold" fries...
Read moreAs far as McDonald's restaurants go, at this location the drive-thru order takers seem to be a little less rude and impatient. I have long considered myself to be a McDonald's aficionado, and am quick to point out undercooked fries, stale buns or soured tea. No problems with the food here. The broader problem with McDonald's nationwide began in 2016, when every order taker became an impetuous jerk, no thanks to the greedy corporate mandate to shave drive-thru customer order time as if it were an olympic event. "Yes, I'll take a number one..""DOES THAT COMPLETE YOUR ORDER?" "No, I'd also like a Filet-o-fish..""WILL THAT BE ALL?"...
This national Mickey D's customer service deficiency is less prevalent at this location, probably because it is in our perfectly sleepy little hometown of yawn...
