If you're in the mood for some delicious Chinese food, then Silver Palace is definitely worth a visit. Located on Whittier Boulevard in Whittier, CA, this restaurant serves up some of the best Chinese cuisine in the area.
The first thing that stands out about Silver Palace is the elegant and inviting atmosphere. The decor is modern and tasteful, with comfortable seating and warm lighting that creates a cozy and relaxing ambiance.
When it comes to the food, the menu is extensive and offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for something spicy or something mild, there is something for everyone. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable.
Some of the standout dishes at Silver Palace include the pork chop with spicy salt, ear wonton soup, duck Jong Kong style. All of these dishes were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.
The service at Silver Palace was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any questions or concerns. They made sure that our dining experience was a pleasant one, and we left feeling satisfied and happy.
Overall, I highly recommend Silver Palace Chinese Restaurant. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent, and it's a great spot to enjoy a delicious meal with...
Read moreMy family has come to Silver Palace for about 35 years, and it's been about 20 years for me, and the food has always been great! Not only that, but it seems they have moved the furniture around, so it feels more open, and the accustics are still good.
We're seated away imitately and 2 minutes later, served cups of water, and get brought a pot of black tea.
We ordered after a bit, and I wish I had pictures, but we ate it all so quickly. Sorry, not sorry. Keep in mind that when dining in, it will always be a table order, where you can share platters with one another, so don't be afraid to share with friends and to mix and match.
We get one order of number 27, the House Special Wor Wonton Soup. A personal recommendation of mine because it has a good mix of vegetables and meat. My grandmother was steamed Vegitables with Tofu, and my grandfather's was the Tangerine Beef. Footnote, do not eat the Tangerine Beef's peppers. They are spicy and HOT. I ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken, and it was great as ever.
As a finisher to the grest meal we had, they brought out Orange Slices, Almond Cookies, and of course, Fortune Cookies. It's totally worth the trip here...
Read moreTook my wife for dinner at the Silver Palace tonight after reading reviews of this restaurant. We were seated in the rear area of the restaurant next to the emergency exit door, the area had a open rack with stacks of supply boxes with dim lighting. We at first thought 'No Big' we're hungry for some quality Chinese food, but soon after ordering our meal I could not stop focusing on the dim lighting, dirty air vents, distressed wall decor and being sat right next to their service area with hampers of dirty linen. To the people who give this restaurant 4-5 stars, it's obvious that you have not experienced quality Chinese cuisine. We had not even sampled the food yet and I knew where this was going. The two people serving the tables seemed to be bickering, and after a short time later we were served appetizers (tasteful). The main meal was, how should I say, Disappointing !! This establishment falls short in area's of service, food, cleanliness, with aging distressed decor, etc. Not once were we asked how are food was, or if there was anything more that we wanted. I would not recommend this restaurant, drive to Hacienda Hts, or Rowland Hts. for 'Great'...
