Read moreTime was 12pm. I really do enjoy the prices and the selections. Mostly prices. My beef with Aldi's is the quarters for the carts and no employees around. I rather have free floating carts. I don't carry cash. I'm 40 y/o but I don't carry money. And I felt bad for the ONE cashier who has to help an elderly lady to their car with groceries and another customer (loudmouth customer) needing help in the dairy section...all while rining up the 2 to 3 constant customers in line. Read moreThey generally have some great to amazing prices on things I like, and other stuff. The hummus is delicious. Half a pound of cheese for $1.75 is an amazing deal. Their dozen eggs were also a great deal, I think they were about $2. These amazingly priced calzones are consistently in stock, they are delicious and are filled generously. They are a great quick bite, less than 2 mins in the microwave.
This also makes me question what conditions the animals endure for these prices, mostly the eggs. I do know that Aldi has a few non-traditional supermarket practices that lower costs, but I really wonder about how the egg pric...
