I love getting a small treat for myself or my family over here! They have a lot of creative ideas that I keep returning for.

The drinks always seem to be consistent, and their variety of flavors can be very unique. I loved all their Halloween options whenever October rolled around, and there's always something from their seasonal menu that I like! The coffee flights are an amazing idea that stands out, and my family enjoys them everytime!

The rotating cake options are super awesome, although the texture sometimes can be a hit or a miss. But I love when they do specialty cake orders! The one I got for Valentine's Day was simple, but the flavor was delicious!! ✨️ Definitely better than most of the bakeries around here.

The baristas are always really nice, and the service is perfect! They provided free waters with the flights (which they didn't have to), and were super understanding when me and my friends stayed a little too long before closing. The atmosphere was just too comfortable and it was nice to have a place where it isn't packed...

During our visit, we ordered a Chai Latte and an Americano, both prepared with care and flavor. The real stars, however, were the generous slices of Wedding Cake and Lemon-Lime Cake—each bite was indulgent and packed with flavor, clearly made with talent with attention to detail.

The ambiance of 1889 is quietly elegant, peaceful and uncluttered. The atmosphere invites you to linger, and the staff are warm, courteous, and professional.

After we finished our coffee and treats, we wandered through Nacol's Jewelry Store. It made for a delicious and luxurious afternoon.

I cannot rave about 1889 enough. My wife and I start every weekend here with a coffee (the Tiramisu Latte is the best) and a slice of cake. It has become a staple for us, and their service for custom cakes is beyond any other company. We used 1889 for our wedding cake in December 2024, and Shelby provided a laid-back cake tasting and created the most beautiful classic cake. My wife wanted a classic design with traditional piping, and we were BLOWN away to see it when we arrived at the reception. It became the focal point of the reception area as a 5-tier cake. In addition to the faux 5-tier with a section to cut for pictures, we had separate double-layer sheet cakes to serve. Because we chose traditional wedding cake flavoring with vanilla buttercream, they were able to make a separate vanilla cake for those with nut allergies. The entire experience was perfect, and I cannot recommend 1889 enough. We will be using them for all our future dessert needs so that we can have an 1889 cake at the center of each...
