United Supermarkets — Local services in Wichita Falls

In general, I like a lot about this store. The aisles are wide, the lines are never very long, and there is a fairly large selection of food options.

Unfortunately, the meat section is a health hazard. I’ve come across rotten meat three times in the past year. The first time I was walking down the aisle and could smell something was rotten among the meats, and I decided not to buy anything to be safe. The second and third times I discovered the meat was rotten after taking it out of my fridge and opening the package the day after purchasing (chicken or beef the second time, “fresh salmon” on the third). None of the expiration dates had passed, so I’m assuming the meat isn’t always being stored at a safe temperature at the store. In their defense, I should have told an employee or customer service but I didn’t take the time. Next time I will, but I probably won’t be buying meat...

I want to be the first one to review this store. I can’t wait for this store to officially open its doors and I’m so excited for this location. I’m very sure the staff will be great. I’m very sure the prices will be just as great as all the other United’s. I do want to give a shout out to the GM of this location. He came from being the store manager at the one on jacksboro hwy. I forgot his name but he’s amazing and he’s the greatest guy you could ever meet or just be around. I couldn’t be more stoked to see this guy run this location. He deserves a new store and he has earned every hour put he put in to get to this point. Congratulations to the new Store...

It's not my grocery store of choice. They have gone downhill over the last couple of years. Asking an employee about where an item is, is useless!! They have no rhythm or reason as to how stuff is stocked!! Protein drinks & energy drinks are all over the store, 4/5 different areas & I get tired of looking. No one is helpful & I just go to 7-11 for my energy drinks instead. If I buy food, I only sale shop, they are very proud of the low quality produce, that is wilted & going soft.
