The family decided that they wanted Chinese food. Having been some time since our last visit to the Hunan Restaurant, and been satisfied with the food, I went there again. Inflation & time have caused the restaurant to raise prices, & the menus had a sharpie black magic marker strike out all the prices. One of us ordered a combination fried rice, another ordered buffet Lo Mein, & I ordered Mu Shu Beef. Upon going home, I doled out the various meals to those who ordered them. I was absolutely shocked when I saw that they made the crepes, & put the plum sauce in the container, BUT SURPRISE! THEY FORGOT THE BEEF. Of course I was irate at this, & very hungry. They said they would send out a driver with the beef that was lacking. They took over 30 minutes to deliver to me. Then an even bigger shock. INSTEAD OF JUST BEEF, WHIICH IS THE ONLY THING I WANTED, THEY DECIDED TO GIVE ME AN ORDER OF SPICY HOT BEEF AND VEGGIES. I TRIED ONE BITE, AND IT WAS GROSS. I HAD TO TOSS THE ENTIRE MESS THEY LEFT ME WITH AND HAD A BOWL OF CEREAL INSTEAD. THE PLACE WAS NEAR EMPTY AT 530 PM. THEY DID NOT HEED MY REQUEST FOR ONLY THE BEEF. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT ANY LONGER. I am also not a fan of being served something that I would never order. a meal for four was over $50.00 with the undeserved tip. There are a number of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean restaurants in the area, and I rate Hunan at the very bottom. This is a true statement of my experience (MY very LAST ONE) at that restaurant. cooks could not cook or listen to directions from the manager. Delivery driver got lost on a 2-mile drive, and the prices were...

I drove up to drive throu window and waited patiently and a asian guy came to window I told the guy I needed two egg drop soup, another costumer walked up to the drive throu window on foot and the Hunans male worker stoped my order and started taking the new costumers order and cashed him out and I waited, finally I got my order finished and payed for. I got my soups and there were no plastic ware, so I asked for two plastic spoons and the drive throu window employee was very rude and sarcastic and said we don't get asked that. I told the worker It is commen to give plastic ware in the drive throu and the Hunans male worker said to me, You are common and said some mean things to me, trying to pick a fight with me. I called the number on the receipt and asked to speak to the general manager and the man said, no manager here. Who is this? What is your name? I told him that I am in the drive trou and what is happening and how I am being treated and I'm disabled. The man said, Don't come back if you...
Read moreThe buffet is wonderful with many choices, including a Mongolian station, several buffet stations with Chinese options, and some American dishes, soups, sushi, salads, and desserts. You can order off a menu or get the buffet. Wait staff is courteous and prompt. The owners check in with you occasionally and treat you like family. Ann is amazing and always makes our visits there extra special. Plenty of parking and the atmosphere inside is calming and beautiful. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out on a treat!
If you have a small appetite, get a "to go " box and fix your plate in it first and get it weighed for price. It's often cheaper than buffet price, and you can take it home when you are done. For Diners with regular or big appetites- stick to the regular buffet. You can't take leftovers home, but you can eat enough while you are there to enjoy several of the dishes til you find your...
