Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

I worked there for a lil more than a month. In the time period, I've seen more than 10 employees quit. In just the first 24-48 hrs. I kept striving and pushing. I brought the backend kitchen back to 90% life. The kitchen was disgusting. Flys, roaches, rats. One manager, Shania, leaves the drive thru window open on her shift. Flys, bees, crickets always come in and swarms all around the store, food, dish area, inside and around inside trash cans. The chemicals to the wash area doesn't work. It's a guessing game with sanitizer for the dishroom sink.Many times my hands broke out and Crack and constant numbness. There's no security system for building. The GM acknowledges that some homeless is living in the ceiling above the men's bathroom. The drivers are given 15$ to break customers change. There is no money/cash box for drivers. At times carrying 2-300$ or more in cash. Huge robbery risk!! In the store, 3 different Bluetooth speakers that are available, one a Bose speaker. Management and staff have offensive music, that is not Family approved for a family establishment. Customers will be at times, sitting at the counter for 5-15mins waiting for any type of staff will acknowledge their presence because of the music being so loud to not hear the door chime. The lobby is always disgusting. Bags of pizzas boxes EVERYWHERE. CARD BOARDS TABS FROM THE BOXES EVERYWHERE. IT LOOKS LIKE A STORAGE WAREHOUSE. Larry has done wrong with the business. That was a purposely written comment to get the proper attention of the business. Larry is an outstanding employee. Proper and Professional. Reverse psychology. I got the attention of the business. I'm sorry Larry, you are innocent and used by me. The back door is always open and unlocked with a store apron keeping it open. Brittany, a shift manager wrote me up for singing a song, "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix a Lot. Violation of my 1st amendment right "Freedom of Speech" as retalation for my recent acceptance of my relationship. Jealousy and abuse of power. She claimed "sexual harassment." After resigning from the business, the GM Tolu, contacted by documented and saved "text message" @2:23am with threats, intimatations and false accusations while my and I were in our slumber. 1hr and 8 mins past my clock out. All week long I couldn’t scroll through social media without seeing some sort of promo for this place, and with the 50% off signs hanging outside the storefront too, I figured it was finally time to give it a shot. I was already out grabbing dog food and passed the location on the way home, so I said why not.

Let’s start with pricing: the base pizza starts at $13.49 before any customizations. I went to build a half Hawaiian, half pepperoni and sausage pizza — but due to what I assume was a system error, only the ham and pineapple were saved. So I ended up with what I guess you’d call a half Hawaiian and the other half just plain cheese. Not exactly what I wanted. By the time the order processed, I was at $17.67 before the discount. That’s steep for what I received.

I also built a second pizza with white sauce, steak, and mushrooms. Visually, it looked like they piled all the toppings on one side. Zero effort in distributing them evenly. The crust — unless you scroll to the bottom and add a topper — is incredibly dense and flavorless. I skipped eating most of it.

As for taste, the sauce was bland. It tasted like someone sprinkled some Italian seasoning straight onto the crust without blending it into the sauce properly. The white sauce pizza didn’t fare much better. The mushrooms seemed like they came out of a can, overly soft and rubbery, with zero char or crispness. The steak didn’t stand out either — chewy and underwhelming.

Presentation was also disappointing. From the photos, you can tell the pizzas look rushed, uneven, and honestly not appetizing. It reminded me of something you’d find at Sam’s Club, but even that might be too generous.

I placed my order online requesting no bacon. I went to pick up my pizza and didn't look at until I got home and I noticed there was bacon on the pizza. I called and spoke with Jonathan and he said we're really busy can I give you a voucher for another day. I informed him I would like another pizza tonight and I asked could I come pick it up and return the old pizza. He said yes, but Marco's policy is we have to see the pizza before making another one. I returned the pizza and Jonathan asked me where's the bacon with sarcasm and I said look at the pizza and you'll see it.
