Before I start my review, I want to address a couple of 1 🌟 reviews from farther down the list and convey why it is important to carefully read what people write..
Ic Away complained about this Which Wich not fulfilling their request for malted beverages and passing them off as shakes.. Um, hello, Which Wich has never offered malts in the six years I've enjoyed their fare.. They've only ever offered shakes.. So complain away about ordering something that isn't even part of the menu.. And then go on to complain about the proprietor's nationality.. Bigoted much?!? 🙄
Andrew Kluttz complained about his final bill while also ordering the largest sandwich offered and adding bacon, double meat, and double cheese to that sammich.. I mean, I assume folks can read the menu and do a little basic math so they won't have sticker shock at the end..
These two reviews notwithstanding, it seems that most others share my favorable view of this Which Wich location.. Here's my review..
I typically visit this WW when I pass through the Wichita Falls area on trips to Abilene, the Permian Basin, or El Paso.. I've visited this location many times and have the same great experience each and every time..
A gentleman named Mani owns this store.. He's an immigrant and has assembled a small group of dedicated employees to successfully deliver the goods that Which Wich requires him to deliver on behalf of the brand.. And despite my infrequent visits, he greets me each time like he just saw me yesterday.. He's a nice man..
Today, I ordered my usual.. A regular-sized Italian Grinder with my normal toppings, a side of fries, and a soft drink.. The Grinder was delivered perfectly hot and toasted, and the fries were straight from the fryer and piping hot as they ALWAYS are on each of my visits..
I came to really enjoy the WW brand and the sandwiches it offers while stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso in 2017.. I don't have a WW anywhere near where I live (OKC metro), so visiting the Wichita Falls WW has become somewhat of a treat each time I have the opportunity..
The store is kept immaculately clean, the employees always deliver outstanding service, and it is my hope that this WW survives the times when many other WW locations haven't..
I know that Mani cares about his store and his customers.. It is clear to me through the conversations I have with him on my occasional visits.. So Mani, I wish you and your employees nothing but the very best.. Thank you, Sir, for another fantastic dining...
Read moreI was the lead for my squadrons holiday party and I wanted to make sure my vegetarians were covered on food so I online ordered a 20 half sandwich catering vegetarian tray the day before my party and I set the pick up for 430, my party started at 6. I got a order received email.
When I showed up, they had no idea of my order. (I should have called and confirmed they received it.) So the manager came out and was trying to find my order in the system. After a couple mins, he finally found it but obviously it wasn’t tracked so I didn’t have my tray. The manager offered to make the sandwiches and I asked how long, and he said about 45 mins. I got frazzled bc it was almost 5 and I still needed to go home, shower and change to my party. I was about to just cancel the whole thing and leave bc I wasn’t going to be able to wait or come back to get it later. But before I even said I wanted to cancel, the manager offered to deliver the tray to my venue, which was near base.
I felt bad because the manager is a bit older and I didn’t want to him to have to drive 15 mins there and back just to drop off my tray but he insisted.
He delivered my tray on time. My vegetarian squadron members LOVED the sandwiches.
I just wanted to write this review bc despite the system error, the manager was entirely kind and helpful. I’ve never been to wich wich before but I’ll be back to try a sandwich for...
Read moreI did NOT have a good experience with this, the Wichita Falls location. I ordered a Banana Malt, complete with malt powder, and my other half ordered Strawberry, also with a request for malt powder since the malt powder is what makes it a malt, right? Well, after abt 16 mins., neither one of us had our malt and no one else was there so, without trying to be rude, I went to my car and asked to speak with the mgr. He said the problem was, they didn't know how to make either of our malts, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT MALT POWDER WAS AND WERE WAITING FOR A CALL BACK FROM SOMEONE WHO COULSD TELL THEM WHAT IT WAS ! !which leads me to believe they had been passing-off Milk Shakes as malts. So, needless to say, we WASTED about 20 mins. of our time! I understand they were from another country but one would think they would have chosen a business where they know what they were doing, or, at least got some training in this field so they would know what they were doing, or, at least hired a American who knew what he or she was doing but, as in most convenience stores, they hire only their kind, but the have no plproblem asking for American Gov't Business Loans. They need to go home, back to their country. Not just because of this incident, but because they are anti-American most of the time, as I have witnessed in my...
