Good food, quick service, there really wasn’t anything wrong with the atmosphere, other than the place was pretty much at capacity inside and out and there must be a population explosion in North Texas because unrestrained kids were everywhere. I’m a fan of the kids, heck, I used to be one, and they’re a blast to watch, especially when they’re hopped up on a couple of glasses of go juice but when their numbers surpass adults, chaos is bound to ensue. It’s not the kids fault, but it does make it challenging to eat lunch when they’re running the length of the booth seating, that’s a single loooong 1-piece unit that beckons children to climb on to, and run it’s length whether their be obstacles or not and if you’re fool-hearty enough to sit in the middle and eat, well then you deserve the collisions that occur when you change the structure of the track last minute cuz the kids aren’t going to instantly adapt to you and the race must go on. For the $10 purchase price you get a good helping of chicken tenders, fries, coke slaw, and a cup to put your drink and refills in, plus all the kid entertainment you can handle and it’s like a 3 ring circus. Price wasn’t too bad, and apparently it’s a city favorite as the drive through and inside dining were packed even when we finished around 2 pm on a Saturday. It’s conveniently located and staff, customers, and children are all pretty friendly. Although if any place could benefit from a jungle gym or maybe a track on the ground that doesn’t involve customer seating, this place would be close to fast...
Read moreI am posting because I hope management sees this. I have eaten here for years and never had a bad experience until today.
I came through drive through at 6:10PM 09/24.
Young lady at pay window was joking around with 2 other employees and they were all face timing someone.
I gave her $20.92 on a ticket for $10.92. They were so busy slapping each other and waving at whoever was on the phone that I had to wait forever for change and then explain to her why I gave her $20.92. It took close to a minute for her to figure out she owed me $10.00 in change.
Now they may have been because she would think for a bit, then talk to who was on the phone and try to keep the young man with glasses at bay who works there and was trying to reach across her to grab phone so he could talk to the person.
Absolutely zero concern for how it looks or impacts customer care.
As a business owner with employees that have to do customer service I would want someone to tell me.
Food was great as...
Read moreOrdered a Caniac (6 strips) combo, no coleslaw, extra toast with a lemonade and one extra sauce. Total of $17.98.
Results: Received no extra sauce, so ripped off 39 cents (sometimes happens, so begrudgingly understandable…). Received a sweet tea instead of my lemonade (color blind perhaps?). Received 5 (tiny) chicken strips instead of the advertised 6 (I blame common core math at this point). *Bonus round: Even when I replied “yes” at the window when asked if I wanted ketchup, I didn’t even get the ketchup they had JUST asked me about…
Would chalk it up to getting the wrong order, but they actually managed to get the “No coleslaw, extra toast part” right, so cannot even give the benefit of the doubt here.
Cluck, cluck, cluck… I was, indeed fact, not in luck. ...
