So myself and friends usually go out to eat on sundays and we take turns with the restaurants in Wichita Falls. Coming here wasn’t the first time and we’ve had exceptional service except for this past Sunday the 14th of April. From the moment we sat down, our server had such an attitude. We all assumed it was midday and she was getting tired even though it wasn’t an excuse. Well, she just got started with us. She was nice to the surrounding tables but never asked if we were okay or wanted more drinks. All she did was look and if she saw the glasses empty, she’d just grab them and leave. It was so obvious when my sister called her while she was walking away from taking our glasses and she actually turned and looked at her and kept walking away. We all had to raise our heads in disbelief at the attitude. She came back with food and unfortunately my food had salt, my friends ordered shrimps and it was salty. We were all scared to talk to the server. One of my friends couldn’t bear it and actually called her to complain and she said “ok I’ll bring you unseasoned shrimps” my friend said “I don’t want unseasoned shrimps but medium because this is salty” she argued till we gave up. She never asked the rest of us if we were okay with our meal. Her attitude was so repulsive that I couldn’t bear it anymore , I had to plead with another server to bring a to-go box. Luck smiled on us when the manager Linda brought the shrimps to my friend and we complained. It was a terrible service and we were all ready to leave as we’d lost appetite but Linda did all she could to remedy the situation. She apologized severally and offered us some extra service and gave a discount on the bill. She assigned SI to bring our to-go packs and she was very pleasant and also apologized for the situation we did experience with Cessna who was the first server that served us.
I hope the servers realize that they would always be the first contact of service to people, and their attitude is what leaves a remarkable feel, or a scar. You don’t have to be friendly, but you need to be approachable and be able to smile and just ask if your customers are okay. They don’t need to engage. Cessna attitude was the more disgusting ever! We had no idea why she acted that way. I understand that nobody is perfect and We all go through situations, but I believe it’s okay to take time to breathe and just be nice to everyone than been selective. She rendered selective services that day and sure made us feel very uncomfortable. Thanks to Linda who was very empathetic about the situation. We made up our mind never to go there again, but thankfully, we know there are still a...
Read moreWe recently celebrated my daughter's birthday with a party of 7 at Texas Roadhouse in Wichita Falls, TX on a bustling Saturday evening. We were delighted to find that our call-ahead seating reduced our wait time to just about 10 minutes, even though there were more than 15 eager diners waiting for tables. It's clear that this restaurant is incredibly popular, and I'll explain why shortly.
Once we were seated, there was a slight sense of urgency to place our orders quickly. However, I explained that we were savoring our time together and opted to order appetizers before diving into the menu. Interestingly, when I requested onion rings, I was promptly informed they didn't serve them. It turns out they do offer the Cactus Blossom, which is essentially an "onion ring" dish. We had a good laugh about this and, by the way, I highly recommend the Cactus Blossom – it was scrumptious!
The restaurant was packed and quite loud, which made ordering a bit tricky. Nevertheless, our server did an exceptional job managing the chaos. Everyone received the dishes they ordered, and the food was undeniably delicious. I had ordered my steak medium-rare, but it arrived rare. This wasn't our server's fault; they accurately relayed my order and even provided a detailed description of what "rare" should look like. However, due to the noise level, I misheard the description, which sounded like medium-rare. It was still a great steak.
Despite this minor hiccup, we left the restaurant thoroughly satisfied. When we received our bill, we were pleasantly surprised, and it all became clear why Texas Roadhouse is such a popular spot. With seven people and two appetizers, our total bill, including the tip, was less than $200.00, but no one even ordered alcohol. The incredible value combined with the scrumptious food definitely earns this restaurant its...
Read moreHad a very bad experience at Texas Roadhouse this past Thursday night (7-18-24). First off, our rolls were under cooked, they were still white, not a hint of golden brown. We asked the waitress for some different rolls, she said okay, but never brought us anything. Then we ordered a couple appetizers, it took them almost 1 hr for those to come out, right before we got our food. How is it an appetizer if it comes out 3 minutes before your entrees come out. Our waitress wasn't very good either, our drinks were constantly empty while she just stood at the computers talking to other staff. But the worst part, and the part that still has me extremely upset, is the table across from us had a 15 year old birthday boy, so when the staff came around to sing, non of them paid attention or noticed my 1 year old grand daughter in a high chair at the edge of our table. I didn't notice right away because I was helping my 4 year old grandson with his food, but all the sudden I hear my grand daughter scream out, I turn to look and the staff that gathered around had bumped her high chair half way under our table, pinning her against the table. I pulled her out right away, she was so scared and cry uncontrollably, and non of the staff seemed concerned at all. They just looked at me like I'm the crazy one, and kept on singing. That is completely uncalled for. They could have hurt my 1 year old grand daughter and no one cared. I spent close to $150 there and that's the kind of service we received. I will never spend another dollar at the Wichita Falls Texas Roadhouse, after the service we received and how they almost hurt my grand daughter. Management should be ashamed of the poor service and actions of...
