We used the drive-thru of this Jack-In-The-Box at the Kemp loccasion. It wasn't busy at 11 am... only one other car in the drive-thru lane the entire time we were in line. The employee taking our order wasn't overly pleasant and seemed rushed. She spoke over me as I was ordering a "medium" chocolate shake because I ordered a size they didn't offer. I know she heard me because she interrupted me saying, in my mid-order, "shakes only come in regular or large sizes". I said, "okay, regular is good, fine".
She then gave me the normal "that'll be $15.11 at the last window." She said it so fast that I didn't have time to read and review the order screen for accuracy. The screen only projecteced $15.11. I pulled forward... Again, the employee taking the order seemed rushed and didn't have a pleasant tone of voice.
We pulled forward to the payment/food window. It didn't take too long, a few minutes. The woman employee popped open the window and said they were out of Coke Zero and what would I want instead, I said diet coke was fine. She took my payment as she handed me my diet coke. She closed the window to get the food order filled. She returned with the food bag, handed it me as she said thank you and started to close the window. However, I stopped her because the chocolate shake was missing. I explained, to the her we were missing the chocolate shake. She said , "oh, right, okay" and closed the window to go make the shake.
A minute or so later a different female employee came to the window and proceeded to ask for additional money for the cost of the shake. I mentioned that I had already paid for my order and and assumed the shake was included in my total at the first remote speaker.(I didn't think to check my receipt.) I remembered ordering the shake, because she employee had corrected the cup size.
So, now this different female employee promptly rattleed off my order, as if I didn't know what I had just ordered, looking up at her screen, with no mention of the chocolate shake. I'm assuming the original female employee had forgotten to add it to our total order... in her rushed spirit.
I was confised bit paid for the shake, because we actually really wanted one. Now, this second drive-thru employee was slightly rude, as well. She took my card and returned it... never apologizing for the confusion. As of I was at fault or bothersome for wanting what I had originally ordered. We are still sitting and waiting for the chocolate shake to be made and delivered. This took several more minutes waiting for them to prepare our shake. As we were sitting and waiting, a third female employee opened the drive-thru window and asked me if I was needed something. I said, "Yes, my chocolate shake." She closed the window as she said, "oh, okay", and walked away.
Finally, we were handed our forgotten and paid for, shake. No one apologized for the error or for having to wait. We never saw the employee that we originally spoke with.
Everything else was as delicious, as ordered, hot, and freshly made.
We ordered, a Breakfast croissant with sausage, curly fries, regular size chocolate shake, coke Zero, and 6 tacos. This isn't a complicated order,....

Read moreI had the worst experience today I’m an everyday customer pass by Jack in the box every morning get my breakfast with my coffee and get an order of French toast every morning today as I pull around to the drive thru the lady taking my order has an extremely bad attitude as I’m ordering I ask for an order of French toasts and she yelled at me and told me the discontinued them even though the day before I got French toast so I order a biscuit and a curly fry burger the munch box for my co worker I get to the window and she’s asking my order again so basically she didn’t take my order the first time and we’ll I pay and everything keep in mind I work across the street I’m siting in my car about to eat my breakfast Biscuit since my French toast got “supposedly discontinued “ my biscuit is cold I take a bite and the sausage is like frozen and then my co worker opens her munch box and her tacos or cold and instead of curly fries they give her a mix of fry’s and the curly fry burger doesn’t have any curly fries in it it was just the worst experience we have had I think today was the last day I will be getting at jack...
