This was my first time trying Chipotle, I wasn't too impressed, to be honest. I just didn't feel comfortable eating here. It had a strange feel that moment I walked in the door. It was cold and lacked anything I was led to believe from watching commercials on TV. Idk, maybe being older, I just felt out of place. The music wasn't anything I listened to. My seating was a stainless steel countertop that had streaks of whatever it was cleaned with and just didn't feel inviting. The tray my food was delivered on kind of felt more like something you would serve a pizza from. It was a round and aluminum and didn't feel welcoming or even sanitary, for that matter. The employees were very friendly and courteous, and the food was decent, but the guacamole had a strong salted taste and was kind of expensive as far as I'm concerned, I didn't know I would be charged extra for it or I wouldn't of gotten it. I tried the new chicken bowl that's been advertised, and it was okay, just not all the hype they say for my taste. I'm sure there's a lot of people who will like it. It just wasn't for me. I had asked for a burrito bowl with the new chicken flavor, and I guess the bowl is considered the tortilla because there wasn't one. I didn't know that. I'm not saying anything bad about it. I just didn't know because I've never eaten here before. The sour cream looked to be watered down some because it definitely wasn't as thick as I was used to. I don't know if I should really write a review over this because it was my first time, but first impressions are kind of important if you want my returning business . My bill came to $19.24 total, and the guacamole cost me $2.75, a small soda $3.15, which is really ridiculous in itself. A small bag of chips was $1.90, which was exceptable . But definitely not budget friendly, in my opinion. I'm just saying my honest review. I really don't know if I will return to Chipotle or not in the future. Maybe if I do, I'll try a different location. Other than that, I felt there was adequate parking, handicap stalls, and easy access to the establishment. There was only 1 bathroom I saw, and what seating was there was decent. Like I said, this was my first time eating at Chipotle. Maybe if I try them again at a different location, I'll have a different experience I don't know. But it definitely won't be anytime soon because of the price of things. Being on a fixed income has its disadvantages. I hope this helps if you've never tried this place. Like I say, I do my best to pass on my own personal experience so you can make your own decisions that fit your needs for...
Read moreThis is a usual place that I love to take my girls to eat, it’s close to the house and taste great. However, we will not be to back to this location after last night. Upon having the person at the bar make our burritos/bowls, I noticed she was in a pretty sour mood. I ignored it at first until one of us asked her a simple question and she replied very rudely telling him she didn’t understand what he was saying. I then asked the person at the register if I could speak to the manager on duty (at this point I was done with her attitude) and she responded that she didn’t believe her co worker had an attitude. I said can I please speak to a supervisor? She then began to explain how there was a line forming and that’s why they were frustrated. I spent $40 plus dollars just then at this location and to be treated the way we were was unacceptable. I am currently a supervisor at a popular coffee house, and if we treated our customers the way these young ladies were aloud to treat us it would have cost us our jobs. Chipotle has definitely went down hill in the past years and will continue to go down as long as they allow customers to be treated this way, simply because employees aren’t wanting to do the job their getting paid to do. With the biggest issue being my husband is Mexican with no accent, and the way she looked at him telling him she didn’t understand what he was trying to say when he was speaking clearly, was embarrassing and belittling. In the afternoon when trying to reach a manager the next day. We were unable to get through to the store, though we did grab the cards at the counter for management. I have left voicemails on each of the listed number and have not received a call back. Unfortunately this may be the last time we choose to dine...
Read moreI have mixed reviews about this location. First off, I haven't tried many different food items there. I have had a chicken bowl and just did not like it, but it is a popular place, so it just wasn't for me in particular. I can say that their queso is really good, but the other day I ordered some with chips and none of the chips were cooked, so they were chewy. I will say something about the staff as I usually do in my reviews because great customer service should be implemented at every establishment because in my experience this day I came here, I felt shunned by the staff and I felt as though they were whispering about me in a rude manner. Was I overthinking.....possibly. The girl that filled my container of queso overfilled it and when she put the lid on, it squirted out the top. It was funny to all of us, but it wasn't funny that she put the queso in the bag and set my chips right on top of it and never wiped up the container. I got in the car not realizing it at the moment and pulled the chips out and set the bag on my lap for a second to get the queso out and now I have cheese all over my clothes 😫 and I wasn't finished at work yet, so that was pretty embarrassing the rest of the day. Altogether, I think the staff could use some better customer service skills and be a little happier...
