Dec 29th I walked into Starbucks, one individual in front of me. Said gentleman makes his purchase as I wait patiently. Drive through starts to busy as it is close to 5:30. The person running the front counter I assume, makes the gentleman's coffee that was in front of me I'm still standing here. I have not been addressed at all yet. No hello no welcome to Starbucks nothing. They finish the gentleman's coffee and where I would think they would take my order they start working strictly on drive through. I stand there for at least 7 orders go through being wrote up. Still no hello, no be right with you. I have not been addressed at all. I have been standing here for what feels like 10 mins. Fed up I walk out of the building. Mind you as I leave still no one says a thing. No trying to recover me leaving. No sir sorry for the wait could I make you a coffee. Upset on my way home I decide to call up and ask for the manager. I express how I had stood in line and how no one said a thing to me. He states we thought you was with the guy in front of you I would assume l. I said sir he left 2 minutes before me. He continued with well you saw how busy we were. Making it seem alright not to address a customer standing in front of you. Is it impossible to talk and make coffee. To look up at your customers and say hi there give me one more minute please while I try to catch us up. I will be right with you. To stand there and be completely ignored, and then to call to speak with there supervisor about it and them to blown you off and make and and back their employees actions of ignoring some one. Maybe I'm just old fashioned but where I come from you at least acknowledge some one waiting, a hello goes a long way to helping a customer wait in line. Even if you are busy it doesn't take long to say hi be with you in minute. If it sounds unbelievable. Check your recordings. Was dressed in black shirt purple and black...
Read moreI don't normally complain and would never do so about this Starbucks location. The baristas are fabulous! I can't say enough about them! They totally make my morning, and I'm in there often enough that they know me by name. Love, love, love the customer service!!
The other day though, a young lady held the line up for at least six minutes (I say st least because I didn't stick around to see how much longer it was going to be) because she was trying to pay for her order using the pad to tap her phone... only it wasn't working. Apparently she had no other form of payment. Sometimes technology is not our friend. The line was long, and kept growing. People were becoming disgruntled. We all have places to be. Several left. All the while, this girl couldn't pay for her order, and no one thought to use the second register to take orders from the other waiting customers, who probably had multiple forms of payment, and don't rely solely on the latest, trendy way to pay for something, or in this case, not pay for something. People were coming in, taking one look at the long, non-moving line and leaving. I was tempted to pay for the girl's order myself, just to hurry things along. Instead I left, because I had no more time to wait. The lady behind me just wanted a plain cup of coffee, and also commented on the ridiculousness of someone not having another form of payment and so many people being held up because of it. I'm not sure if she stuck around or not.
Next time gals & guys, open the other register and don't leave paying customers hanging because people aren't wise enough to carry a debit card or some cash, as a back up. I understand wanting to help her out but seriously... on a busy morning like that, it's a bit much. At the very least ask the customer to step aside so you can help the others who have a way to pay for their drinks.
You guys still get four stars because you're great, but that...
Read moreHad a terrible experience today with a barista by the name of Tasha, with short pink hair. I asked if I can “please have my drink remade or refunded, because the cold foam was flat and there was no Carmel drizzle on top” Tasha cuts me off and gets aggressive, told me to hurry up and just tell her what I want to do. I told her I had to drop my daughter off at school first and then I’d be back to resolve the issue. Before leaving I tried handing the drink back, like normal I thought, and she told me “she couldn’t take MY trash” When I went back I explained to the other barista what had happened, Tasha cut her off jumped in Her way and slammed the window. Tasha then asks for what I paid with, I said “it’s the app..” she again gets aggressive and cuts me off and says “no I can see it right here you paid with a visa debit card. So no, no you didn’t”. I showed her the visa ON MY APP that I used and she apologizes sarcastically smiling huge and telling me how very different it is… and says she’s worked there for years and she knows what she’s doing. I told her thank you for the apology because it was a rude interaction. And she explained “she cut me off because she was taking someone else’s order over the headset at the same time.” Then proceeds to yell and lean out the drive through window that her managers name is Amanda and I can …”. I drove away at that point so I don’t know what else she was shouting. I doubt anything will come of this, since she was so bold screaming her manager AMANDA if I have a complaint. But it’s...
