Tacos TJ 664 is consistently great. I personally love their asada, but on Thursday's they have adobada street tacos for $1.50 and that's hard to beat. I came here not long ago with a coworker and it was extremely busy. We had to wait nearly our entire lunch period to order and when we were told how long the wait would be we decided we were going to pass that day as we needed to return to work. The employee working the cash register asked how many tacos we would need (3 each) and then said "I can make that happen." No sooner had we paid she had gotten the tacos packaged up and we were on our way. In no way did we expect that treatment, and I wouldn't stay again if I saw the line that long as I have a limited amount of time for lunch, but that kind of customer service goes a long way to ensuring my continued patronage. I've never had a bad meal with Tacos TJ and I doubt you will, either. Two thumbs up.

The food ISO k as long as you are not lactose intolerant or you say anything light on the menu other than the way the food is prepared I've been there several times and even though I've had some experiences that were good over the years it seems that they don't understand what light cheese means every time I order and ask for light cheese they still Pile the cheese on so much to wear it was a quarter of an inch thick off of the Tostada way too much cheese For me even my son who eats there regularly told me you have to tell them no cheese at all because they don't understand what light means and I can clearly see that I'm going to try the West location to see if they can comprehend what light or easy means because this East location definitely does not other than thatI would be able to leave a better reviewBut because of this aggravation of too much cheese Unfortunately it was hard to give him 3 stars

OHMYGoodness! I've had some delicious authentic tasting Mexican food but this was just amazing and super affordable! First of all, the chips and queso were hands down the best I've ever tasted. The homemade chips were just amazing. I don't ever want chips from a bag anymore, lol. You definitely MUST order them! I also ordered the carne asada fries and the meat was so buttery and so soft and seasoned so well. It was just delicious. I wasn't a fan of the guacamole. It was like a paste and was not that good in my opinion. But the chips and all of the food made up for it. I was introduced to this restaurant by my niece, while visiting family in Wichita . We went to the one out west and then the next day I took my mom to the one out east and both restaurants did not disappoint. This is definitely going to be on my list of favorites next time I come to visit.

Had a chicken quesadilla, birria ramen, and chips and queso. Everything was decently priced. Restaurant was big, clean and cool. I was greeted upon entrance. The chicken from the quesadilla was delicious. So was the tortilla. But I didn't like how it was made. It was folded like a taco, but all the cheese was melted in a clump at the folded end of the tortilla. Due to this, it was hard to eat bc the meat kept falling out. The bottom part (the only part that had cheese in it) tasted like stuffed pizza crust (which I hate) blegh 😝 My lady ate the birria ramen and said the meat tasted more like an American roast than a Spanish inspired dish. The queso was a little thick. And seemed like it was JUST melted cheese. I dumped the salsa that came with it in the cheese and mixed it to give it some flavor. It was delish after that! The chips were the exact kind of crisp that I LOVE! But there wasn't enough of them to finish my queso with.

Next time, I'll probably order a burrito with that same chicken instead, im thinking I'll like that more. I wasn't all that impressed this time, but I know what I liked, so I know which direction to take it next time! Definitely wasn't gross, so would for sure try this place again. Especially with the pricing being...

What an absolute train wreck their customer service is. Finally thought we found a good local taco place only to find out if you have issues they will tell you it's your fault. Placed and order over the phone and picked it up and got home to find out half the order was wrong and they forgot items. Their response was I placed the order wrong, my wife ran out the place and left items behind. I was also accused of not being able to read the menu by the manager. As a customer service manager myself, if I ever had one of my employees, let alone my managers, tell a customer they couldn't read the menu, I would fire them on the spot. Simple answer is, we made a mistake, come back and we will replace the order. The manager just wanted to argue and kept escalating the situation. Also here is a huge customer service tip... NEVER tell the customer that your manager is just going to tell you the same thing. This is an escalation tactic. Now to call my bank and start the dispute. This was an embarrassment that could have been...
