The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated and the server Amanda was quick, friendly, and attentive. The menu is not complicated and there quite a few interesting choices. The house bread was good. I was so excited for the Bruschetta that I forgot to take a picture before we ate it all. The flavor was perfect considering how simple an appetizer it is. Our meals arrived well after those of other couples who ordered after us. There were some large groups in attendance as well. My wife had the lasagna and I had the special which was seared grouper on a bed of risotto in a fondue sauce topped with small lobster pieces, a corn salsa, and some asparagus. The lasagna was alright but nothing special. I was originally going to order the lamb but the grouper special sounded interesting so I went with that. Of the grouper meal, the risotto had the most flavor to offer. The grouper itself was cooked well but lacked any real flavor. When I say small pieces of lobster. I mean they were so small as it was hard to tell them apart from the chopped up bell pepper in the salsa and you couldn’t really taste it. The asparagus didn’t really do anything for the meal. For dessert my wife had the crème brûlée and I had the goat cheese cake. Major kudos for making something with strawberry and rhubarb together that I liked (a first for me). Both were delicious and we would eat those anytime. We would eat here again but would both pick different entrees considering the overall price. 4 stars for the appetizer and dessert alone!

I can't rave enough about YaYa's! It's one of my favorite mid-week Happy Hour locations and my all-time favorite Brunch spot in Wichita. No greasy diner food here that will leave you scrambling for a bathroom 30 minutes later. Just delicious seafood, salad, antipasto, prime rib, crepes, parties, fruit, and dessert. $5 Mimosas and Bloody Mary's are a great Sunday morning deal. On the Brunch buffet you'll find delicious Smoked Salmon, Shrimp Cocktail, Salad Bar, Antipasto, Biscuits and Gravy, Sausage links, Bacon, Eggs Benedict, Mussels, Fried Potatoes, Scrambled Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Rice, there is so much to choose from! But that's not all! There's a custom omelet station where you can have your omelet made to order, prime rib cut in front of you, custom crepes, and small waffles with Nutella, peanut butter, syrup, jam, coconut, whipped creme, chocolate chips, and powder sugar for toppings. I didn't peruse the dessert bar as much because I'm not as into sweets, but at only a couple bites each, even I found a little something to satiate my sweet tooth. My kids loved our Brunch as much as my husband and I did! Great place for a nice Sunday meal or a weeknight Happy Hour! Can't wait to go back!

I work alot so i Had not been to Yias Yias bistro for brunch in a few years but I remembered how delicious it was. So I finally got the chance to go.today for brunch and was super excited. However I was quickly disappointed as the food was not as I remembered it. I tried what looked like wild rice and chicken dish. The chicken was ice cold, I tried the scalloped(or maybe it was au gratin) none the less they were not very good. The sausage links were hard and cold. The few plus were the pineapple and the sausage gravy both were yuuum. The fried potatoes were pretty good. I was excited for this visit unfortunately I left hungry and disappointed. The service was pretty good

At the moment not impressed as I had to wait openly with her knowing i am waiting to be served. I had to ask the bartender after waiting 20 minutes as she stood and talked with others and not in a business aspect. I am ready to start with a drink. After she brought my drink I asked about the soup of the day. She did not know soup of the day either. Little disappointing. More attention seemed to be given to making drinks for other customers at the bar area away from me and others vice the other bar area patrons. I thought Not her fault as she has to keep up as there should have been a second tender working to help. I had to ask for a menu. I asked about a specific meal and she did not know but thought to myself as felt she was going out of her way to discuss this. I will put out a second review after I eat my meal and see how it tastes. Ok now it has become deep!!! Bartender decided her 4 friends sitting at the bar were more important than the rest of us thats part of the reason I was not being served. 100% she decided to attend to them other than the waiters who were requesting drinks. As I was departing the place her one male friend decided to play Macho on me and stood a distance away saying some kind of rude comment. Well after I departed I called and requested to speak to a manager. The employee complied. I explained it to him in two different tones of voice. He was EXTREMELY open to hear my complaint and deeply apologized to me and 100% percent assured me this would be taken care of. As it seems he also expressed he has spoken to this employee before and ALSO this night prior to my patron to this establishment. To the individual who was bold enough to make the RUDE comment to me as I was departing. I am sure you know you may have possibly cost your friend the bartender her job. Think of your actions before you open your mouth. To the manager thank you as I hope I will see a response in your efforts to keep the business proper. I will not be back to this establishment but it does not mean to say others should not go but CHANGES NEED...

Parents called in for reservation for 8 people at 6pm. Showed up on time and was seated down. Took a little bit for service to take drinks and get us water. We got 2 appetizers the calamari and dumplings. I didn't get to try the dumplings but the calamari was good. My Fiancee got a salad and so did my Mom. My dad ordered a beer and so did I when we are asked for drinks. Later on the waiter assumed I wanted another beer without even asking me, was annoyed about that as that cost extra (told him I never asked for a 2nd beer). We also put in our orders for main dish. We were wondering when the saleds would come out, and hopefully before the main dish. We had like 5 orders of steak meals and 2 dishes of pizza and 1 pasta. Been waiting for our main entree for about an hour. had to ask the waiter and said it will be out in about 7-8 minutes. Waited and nothing happened. we saw new people being seated, taking orders, and getting their food before us. Started to get irritated as we are celebrating 2 birthdays at our dinner. I asked for the manager to see what was going on with our food and he said the same thing. We explained we been waiting for our food and people are coming in and getting their food before us. He was not apologizing and was held firm on his message towards us. It seemed like they wanted to take care of the smaller tables first before us. We were all upset and my parents really did like to come here to eat. We were getting ready to leave and our food came out. it took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get out main dish. Not sure why it took so long to make or what. We prob will never come back again due to the service. Their was no customer experience at this place with the servers and management we dealt with that day. Food was okay, pasta was bland, pizza was average. How much money we spent will go...

Moving from Florida to Kansas 5 years ago, I was shocked at the difference in customer service. It seems that everywhere I go there is a complete lack of concern bordering on disdain for patrons no matter the business. I am not a difficult customer, nor am I difficult to please. That being said, there are certain times when I expect to get what I pay for on a multitude of levels. When celebrating a special occasion it is important to me that I have the ability to enjoy a leisurely dinner with my guests, this simply means quality food, service and atmosphere with no rushing from course to course in order to get the table turned and earn a dollar more. I've attempted this scenario at several area venues only to be disappointed beyond repair. Ya Ya's is the first place I have been that should pride itself on attention to detail and customer service. My husband and I requested cozy and secluded seating, to which the staff happily accommodated. Our server respected our choice to enjoy preprandial libations before ordering. There was ample time between courses, but in no way was our server inattentive, Rob made sure we were well provided for by promptly refilling drinks and providing bread service. The food was cooked to perfection, flavorful and comfortably filling. To top it off we were given a lovely dessert and when we ordered a Bailey's and coffee Rob presented us with quite the show as he prepared his special "Flaming Irish Coffee"

All in all we had a wonderful experience at a decent price. I've bragged to all my friends and family about how grand it all was and how we will be returning every...
