Mattress Dogzzz — Local services in Wildwood

We had a 17+ year old Tempur mattress. There was nothing wrong with it. It was still very comfortable and supportive. But being a woman of a certain age I now sleep HOT and not in a good way. I would keep the a/c set to 66-68 with a fan behind the vent blowing the cold air directly on me. I would still be gross hot even without pajamas, sheets or blankets.

I didn’t know what I could do except be hot.

My husband suggested looking for a mattress that provided “active cooling”. I didn’t know there was such a thing.

Well, living in Wildwood we wanted to shop local and saw a Tempur-Pedic sign at Mattress Dog in Town Center. (We originally thought it was a dog bed place…oops, our bad). We stopped in to see if they had what we were looking for.

Scott greeted us as we entered the store and after hearing what we wanted pointed at the first Tempur-Pedic on the right, the Active Breeze, and said “that’s the one”.

It was an easy demo in that it really does send cool air up through the mattress! Oh, my gosh exactly what we needed plus it also heats! I can be cool and my husband can turn on heat! Wow! Who knew this was a thing? Ha!

After verifying the queen base, which comes in two pieces, should make it up the stairs of our 94 year old farm house we bought it on the spot!

Quickly thereafter we got the white glove delivery service where they took away the old mattress and box and set up the new bed . The delivery crew were on-time and respectful. They got the old out and the new in without scratching the walls or floor. We were shocked given how cramped our stairs and hallway are.

We are so glad we have Mattress Dog here in Wildwood. Scott was great to work with and we could not be happier with our fancy new bed.

Went to the Grand Opening of the Mattress Dogzzz Wildwood store. The store is set up beautifully and they have a great selection of inventory to choose from. The owners Richard and Raymond were both there and I received a warm and friendly greeting from both upon entering the store. All the sales people were friendly and knowledgeable. The whole experience was relaxing and no pressure at all. Much more enjoyable than the atmosphere at a big box store. And to top it off they had a wonderful array of delicious BBQ, a band and Open Door Animal Sanctuary! Can’t forget to mention Floppy, the sales-dog for the dog bed presentation!
