Bruegger's Bagels — Restaurant in Willoughby

I want to give this place a 5 star rating because I love bruegger's. It reaks of extremely poor ownership and management. Everytime i go they are out of cinnamon sugar, and the vermonter bagel. It's an every single weekend thing which should be an UNACCEPTABLE standard by the owner/manager. I can understand that happening with a new business that is getting a feel for count, but this place has been in operation for long enough tha there 100% NO excuse. If they owner has to come in and make bagels than that's what you do IF YOU CARE. Another UNACCEPTABLE aspect is how nasty this place is. As soon as you walk in the doors look like they hadn't been cleaned in years, the coffee area is beyond disgusting, the ceiling, the vents, around the register and cc machine, absolutely ridiculous. If I owned this place and I couldn't afford the employees to make these standards possible, I'd come in on my own damn time and see that this place says I care about my customers, I want them to feel like there food is being handled in a clean environment, I want them to be able to order a bagel and get that bagel. IT'S A BAGEL PLACE! that's all you provide! If the owner is physically incapable maybe it's time to part ways? Idk, but ya...

A young lady working there got into a customer's face for not having a mask. The guy explained he just finished his workout and couldn't wear a mask as he was still cooling down. He even offered a letter from the doctor stating that he had medical clearance. We'll the young lady decided to take it upon herself to be "superior" and exclaim they couldn't be served because they didn't have masks on! Now she had a mask on, she she was "safe" The crew could have quickly served the customer (and his wife) and they could have gone about their way. But instead the girl called the POLICE! The RECOMMENDATION to wear a mask is NOT A LAW! IT CANNOT be enforced as such. So this young lady has just done the company she works for a huge disservice. I will not patronize a place that will allow employees to treat a customer that way! After all the business needs customers to survive! Through word of mouth it will be spread. The service is excellent here. There was a tall black guy ...don't know his name, working, getting orders prepared. He was very friendly and customer oriented. It was busy but he was on top of the orders and moved quickly.

My order and my group of friends orders were all correct. He thanked us for coming there and insisted if we needed anything to let him know.

This is how service and attitude should be but unfortunately in these days that's hardly the case. But when you do come across service individuals who are customer focused its very positive & refreshing. Needless to say I will be coming back to...
