The server had too many tables to give the proper attention to the patrons in her area. There was very little teamwork to help her out. The manager was on the phone the whole time we were there. He didn't go out to the dining area at all, so he wasn't stopping at tables to make sure everything was satisfactory. Initially we were sat at a dirty table. The server suggested that we move to a clean table, so that was a good thing. When we sat down, we asked for coffee which took about ten minutes to get. When the server came with our food, she didn't place it on the table; instead, she haphazardly and roughly tossed it down. Almost slamming it. She wasn't rude or mean, but she seemed to lack concern as to how the abrupt food delivery and missing condiments could have been portrayed as her being apathetic to our dining experience. Twice I asked for butter for my pancakes and hot sauce for my eggs and sausage, which I never received. My husband didn't get the toast he ordered even though three times he reminded her about it. We were not billed for the toast, so that was a plus. I realize that places are short staffed, but it seems logical that the manager would be proactive in making sure he fills in the gaps in the dining area instead of being on the phone. The best person we encountered was David, the very professional young man who I think is a greeter and/or check out person. I was very impressed with his courteous and mature demeanor, especially for someone as young as he is. I see success...
Read moreNEVERRRRRRR again! I placed a pick up order through door dash. Got the confirmation text instantly. Arrive a few minutes after my pick up time and it’s not ready yet. Ok whatever, no big deal. I consider myself pretty patient. Run across the street and grab a few things from the store in the meantime. I get back and still no food. Mean while everyone is all over the place. The MANAGER is bagging orders on the FLOOR and that’s where my frustration started. I get a chance to speak with her to check on my order and she rushes back to the bagging area. Places 2 containers that had been sitting on the counter since I first arrived (about 45 minutes at this point) as she yells back to the cook what she needs to complete my order. Of course when she hands me the bag I give her those bottom boxes and ask for them to be redone because there freezing and my pancakes look like scrambled eggs. I ask her if she’d eat them her self and she proceeds to TOUCH all over them and tell me they’re new. I don’t appreciate being lied to when you did it in front of my face. I am highly disgusted with this location as I was a first time visitor and I don’t plan on returning. 2 hour wait for 2 meal without drinks. I wouldn’t recommend this place or service to my...
Read moreMy husband, 2 daughters and I dined in at the Bob Evans on 34760 Maplegrove Rd in Willoughby OH on 3-8-2023 at about 7pm. Our waitress while she was nice, didn’t know about anything!. However, the Food was HORRIBLE! I ordered The New Farmhand Biscuit Platter. She brings me out a huge plate with just 2 biscuit sandwiches. No sides at ALL. So l had to re order the sides which didn’t end up coming out until we were done. The sandwich was cold..biscuits were hard as bricks & cheese wasn’t melted at ALL. Moving on to my husbands dinner. He ordered the Hand Breaded Chicken Breast dinner. His chicken was pink in the middle & had to be sent back just for it to come back burnt! Our daughters meals were just cold in general. We know how the world is now with businesses not having enough staff. However we counted 5 workers that were visible & only TWO other families dining in! so there shouldn’t be any reason why our orders came out the way that they did. After all that we just expressed how unpleased we were. We didn’t ask for anything to be taken off the bill NOR did they offer. We just wanted to leave asap. Couldn’t even use the restroom due to it not having Any toilet paper OR soap! It was a VERY...
