This place does not deserve the one star rating. However, you must give a star in order for you to rate this horrible disgusting place. Upon arriving due to Fair Bridge hotel situation. I asked before I commit to checking in "my I please see the room?" The man behind the counter was rude and and uninviting... you have a reservation? give me you id! He checked me in switching my single room for a double. I replied, I need to see the room first. He hand me the paper and said over there. I replied over where? Looking at me like I am stupid or something. First, impression is no, people are smoking marijuana, hanging out side, I drive over to the building 276, smell horrible in the entry way like trash, food, marijuana and alcohol. Oh and it is literally trash on stairs. Someone's fighting in the room as you approach them the hallway. Ienter my room. The marijuana smell is so thick, I try to turn on the ac to filter it out some the ac do not go pass 76. " turn on the lights to find stains on the pillows, looking around the room it so dim that you trying to visually see you surrounding... turn on the flashlight on my phone to confirm the stains on the pillows. Open the refrigerator (nasty around the rim) turn on the light to the restroom, there's feces on the toilet, restroom is beyond nasty. I went to the office. He already knew and was rude. You waited a whole hour. I'm looking at the man like sir, I literally just left your office. I HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN GONE 15 MINUTES. you saw me outside you office in my car on the phone with priceline. The man told me that he couldn't deal with me and I made hand gestures dismissing me. Priceline heard everything. How rude he and the other guy was, how he lied and said it was a hour when it wasn't even 15 minutes. How he stated that he wasn't going to deal with me. How he posted signs after, I said the rooms was filthy and needed to be cleaned. In fact, shot outs to the young man that said, run far from here... this wasn't the complete worst decision I made for me and my kids. Ipray your situation gets better. Another man gave me information on the possible lawsuit again the hotel and told me to notify the lawyer asap. The guys left without assisting me in resolving the problem. I will be calling Lisa (skyline) manger on Monday. This is unacceptable. My camera didn't do justice in capturing the feces on the toilet you can see a spec and I didn't take photos of the private area hair in the sink and counter. I was just ready to go! Think before you wver book with skyline

DO NOT RENT THEY HAVE ROACHES & REFUSE REFUNDS , They had roaches were very rude refused to give me a refund got mad because I asked if everybody that works there are Indian because all the Indian employees were being rude & were mad that that had roaches the manager Lisa was very nasty over the phone saying I offended the GM which I never spoke to a general manager I never argued or raised my voice at the employees I simply asked why he can’t give me my money back he said thats not his job that he doesn’t really work there & I have to wait Monday to speak with the manager it’s up to her to give me a refund mind you this the guy at the desk checking in rooms so I don’t understand how he said he didn’t work there but I wasn’t going to argue I asked if everybody that worked there was Indian & if they had a number I can reach out to somebody on he said no I had to come in Monday to speak to manager so I left I called today to speak with Lisa & she was very rude didn’t care to hear my side said that the employees told the general manager what happened & they have videos I said okay if everything is recorded you will never hear or see me raise my voice get aggressive or anything I simply asked a question that didn’t like so clearly it’s family owned & they think they can do what they want they said they don’t care they are they think they are untouchable I will be reporting to the health department & the better business bureau let’s see these ratings in a week since they have fake google accounts leave nice reviews on there room

Then on Saturday, my colleague who checked in, said there were bugs in the room and in the shower and even sent me pictures. When he checked out of the room, he told the front desk, and they informed him about some discount or refund. When I followed up today with Vijay, he said bugs can get into the room, because its summer time, and we would not give a refund. We paid $100 for the room, we are not going to go broke over $100, but its the principal. This hotel is very poorly run. Looks like the family runs the hotel, and they dont have any business sense. Hire a proper manager and proper team, so the hotel can prosper.

Vijay and his staff are not professional, they say one thing and do another. I first contacted the hotel as we were staying there for a room wedding block. So it was me and my wife anniversary you know without the kids..which we barely get that due to we make sure we raise our kids right, and we had decided that through somebody else that we knew, we was going to book a room for here first time and had to travel 28 minutes. When I first booked this room, the room that they had on their website is different from the rooms that you see in real life. If I had to explain this hotel genuinely, it's a looks can be deceiving, especially if you're looking at the web site photos, they have nothing compared or similar, so don't be thinking that room is gonna look like the photos that is on this website. Cause it's not... I did smell, however, cigarette smell in the hallway. For it to be a non smoking hotel that was mind blowing. You do, however, have to have a hotel key card to access to the second level, so that is a good thing, and they do have lots of cameras there. So that's also a great thing. I would not recommend to eat in the areas of around the hotel due to the fact that it will be a long wait time because it's nothing but hotels in that area at least go 10 minutes out. The fact that I paid more than 203 dollars for one night. And the room looked like an average hotel room that you get for 40 dollars a night it was crazy. I had booked so that the hot tub will be in the same room as the bedroom I had to go into a whole nother room just to get to the hot tub. They never said that the walls will be green. It's not a problem, but from the photos the wall was white.Not one wall in that room of it was white except the bathroom walls... When I booked I booked it from a photo that was in a white room..This is another looks could be deceiving. The hotel our room with clean, but we you took a shower in the bathtub. I felt like the bathtub was about to collapse. Regardless me and my partner is humble, so we enjoyed our stay, even though the pictures was not exactly or even similar to how the hotel room was when I got there. I never had rude customer service, but I could say that they wasn't professional, especially being that y'all are practically the only hotel room with hot tubs . Also with the vending machines is cheaper in the kitchen, and if you are, or anybody else is looking for the ice machine it's in the kitchen. But in all, true reality to sum up everything, the only issue that I have was the fact that what I saw on the website to what I saw in real life, it just didn't add up and it didn't match up and it didn't look the same, nor did he look similar to what I actually booked. I would recommend, but then I wouldn't recommend for people who's trying to do something special for their loved one. Cause this is not it if I had a decent room with how it was described in the photo, then I would totally recommend this, but me and my wife came here for a special reason, just to get disappointed by the outcome of the room, not matching the photo. If this is not how your rooms look, why would you have it on the site. But me and my partner still made it the best. This is our 14 year anniversary and we just wanted to enjoy our night in a beautiful room. Cause we never do for ourselves cause we been parents. We just made the best at what we had.. Humble.. Will not be returning but...

So I got a charge on my bank statement from Skylight Inn & Suites (the charge said the hotel name--not expedia, booking.com, etc...) I was confused as to how I got charged because I did not make a reservation. I did not get a confirmation email (looked through my spam, junk email, etc)--no confirmation email from skylight inn or any other hotel booking website that would say I made a reservation.

I had called the hotel and the lady told me at first that the reservation was made through expedia....I then called expedia. Expedia has no records of me making the reservation and explained that if I ever did make a reservation, my bank charge would say their name--it didn't. It said the hotel's name.

I called back this hotel and the lady looked on her computer again, and said "well you must have booked over the phone or through the website, because it says that you made the appointment at 7:41 am on Tues April 15th...SERIOUSLY!!??? I called a hotel or got on their website at 7:41 am and made a reservation???

I then asked the lady if they could email me a copy of the confirmation email that I would have gotten if I booked directly through their website, she said she could only give me a confirmation of the "no show" receipt since I no showed to a hotel booking that I never made.

I told the woman that my phone records do not show me ever calling the hotel. She said "oh, well if you made it through the website, it is a third party and you don't always get a confirmation email." SERIOUSLY???!! LOL...

I asked her what the confirmation # was of the booking and I went to their website (where you can search for a booking you made) I put in the confirmation # and it said the booking couldn't be found. The lady said she didn't know what to tell me. Basically I was SOL.

The woman on phone from the hotel said I can come in and talk to a manager only on Tuesday from 3-5 pm...Only 3-5 pm.....SERIOUSLY??!!

Due to getting the entire phone call from expedia AND the hotel recorded, I will be disputing this with my bank and going to BBB.

This place is a SCAM.....Do...
