Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Willow Park

They just opened so I hope things change. I ordered wings and pizza. Got a text that my food was ready to be picked up. Went there and stood there for another 15 min. Food was not ready. When it finally was 17 min after being told it was ready for pick up the employee I was dealing with didn’t care. Said they have nothing to do with when the message tells us to pick up. Turns out the wings were done the whole time just not the pizza. So the wings were cold when i got home. i dont care when my food is done 15 min or 1 hour just dont tell me its done then im standing in your store for 15 min. because its not then not just saying sorry for the inconvenience but acting like you dont care. ive lived here for 25 years and have seen many food industries that sell great food go bankrupt for...

7/9 I thought I would give another try. 4:30 order for two medium pizzas, both went into the trash. Just awful pizza.

4/22 First time having a Papa johns pizza delivery. At 3:20 I scheduled a delivery for 5:00. My pizza arrived at 5:33 by "Doordash" to my surprise. I assumed Papa Johns Pizza had their own drivers.

The pizza was cold. I'm wondering, was the pizza made at 3:20? Did it just sit at the store until pickup or Doordash picked it up once done and drove around until 5:33? Had I known it was going to be cooked right after ordering, I would have just had it come to my house vs. sitting around.

I know you are new, 5 stars for now as I don't know what really happened. I would rather just use the delivery co (doordash, Uber eats) app so I can rate them and keep track of my food...

Notified that my pizza was ready at 5:18, went inside and waited for 10 minutes before I was even spoken to by any of their 7-8 employees. I asked for an update and was told to wait “7 minutes.” Did not receive my pizza until 5:50. Absolutely ridiculous. There were at least 12 others waiting for their pizzas and it appeared they did not even start making your pizza unless you asked about it. Clearly they are marking pizzas as “ready” to appear that they are operating efficiently which is NOT the case. In hind sight I should have demanded a refund and left without my pizza.
