This us an update of a previous review which was a 4 star. Yesterday I went to purchase a sandwich. While I waited the guy at the register wasn't using his mask correctly. Then a female customers / friend entered the store she wasn't wearing a mask at all and he removed his completely. They continued to stand at the front counter in front of all the pizzas openly on display and have a rather long conversation and completely unmasked and unbothered. I think the obvious stated is that they were not practicing the necessary measures to ensure that the virus wasn't spread that the food was protected that the customers were protected I took my sandwich and I left I didn't want it actually and I threw it away as soon as I got outside I could have asked for a refund but I didn't feel like going through all that but I was extremely Disturbed and disappointed that they could be so Lacks about the care of their customers when this is all over I say I will never be going back there...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe love the pizza at Gianniās but unfortunately have had so many bad experiences we canāt order there again. Multiple times weāve had hair in our pizza. The delivery times can be horribly long- often 2+ hours and last week we ordered at 6pm and a cold, rubbery pizza finally arrived after 9pm (each time we called for an update, it was āany minuteā) The straw that broke the camelās back was yesterday when we ordered a pizza on the website at 3:15 and selected the delivery option of āASAP.ā 90 minutes later when it hadnāt arrived I called to check and was told they donāt start deliveries until 5. When I suggested they update their website to reflect that or that they should have called us to tell us that, the manager, Brian was incredibly rude. He offered no apologies and told me it was āmy problem.ā I was floored by the incredible lack of service given weāve been frequent customers for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe ordered Italian subs from there two weeks prior to our most recent order. We both agreed they were very good. So, this Wednesday decided we would pass on Malin's of Newark and go Ciao's again. Very disappointed! the bread was crumbling and stale. It was FAR from Italian. It was a basic sub, there was one piece of ham on top of the vegetables and the bottom of the sub was the usual provolone and salami. Our order totaled $21, what a waste and disappointment.Included in that order was a 8 piece hot wings which were not good. Half our orders are still in the refrigerator, we will probably discard them. We decided we would not venture there again for a while. There are TOO MANY great sub shops in Wilmington to spend this much money on an order of subs and hot wings and NOT be disappointed. Must have been "second...
