This has been one of my favorite coffee houses for a long time. Located in the Cotton Exchange building on Front street. The coffee and the service is excellent. The blended Frappuccinos are so good it is like a delicious dessert in a cup. Lol. Their Frappuccinos are my favorite as of now 10/12/23. Most recently I got an Iced sugar free vanilla Latte and it was also excellent but not my favorite in Wilmington. They also sell some local pastries, coffee beans and merch. There is a LOT of coffee house competition in downtown and all through out Wilmington. This is one of the best and has been here before a lot of the new comers. If you are visiting the area this is a must try. Grab a coffee and check out the other shops in the Cotton Exchange. If you live in the area and you have not tried the Java Dog you...

Not perfect, but very hearty and without the acidity that plagues some coffee brands. I also got the best apple fritter I've had in a long while.
The setting is nice, with lots of places to sit and second level area. It's dog friendly, people friendly, and the location is quaint. If you're a visitor to town you'll like that it opens on to the Cotton Exchange, an indoors cobblestone village of shops and other interesting things. Grab a coffee and walk...

The downstairs is fairly small and got cramped when everyone was in the ordering line, but there is an upstairs area for sitting that was great for getting some work done. The drinks we ordered were good, and pricing was on par with other coffee shops in town. Multiple customers brought their dogs in with them, which was cool to see. The only downside was the temperature inside. I don't know if it's always as warm as it was, but it is in an old historic building downtown so that's not that unusual. Overall this was a positive experience though and a place...
