Have always loved Chow Thai and was so happy to find another Thai restaurant opening up at the same location. The food tastes amazing but just like everything else the prices keeps going up and up and UP! I’ve been getting the same dish at 11.99 which is now almost $17 for the same amount within a year. Chow Thai was always weird about giving white sauce and Tao Thai is even worse! We ordered 4 dishes and spent $65…when asked for white sauce the employee said she can only give one very small ramekin…when questioned if we can just buy some she said it doesn’t come in the bigger container and hesitantly and unhappily gave us a second small ramekin. Read moreY’all. This place is so nostalgic to me. It has ALWAYS BEEN mine and my husband’s FAVORITE restaurant in Wilmington, hands DOWN. When we thought they closed, we literally cried (NOT kidding!) We have had Thai food that was supposed to be “the best”in huge cities and quite literally have been let down every time at every place, because NONE OF THEM live up to this amazing restaurant right here! When we heard they were keeping the same menu and re opening, we were ECSTATIC and praying it would taste just as good as we remembered! We went for the first time today and WOW. It is literally so incredible and blew us out of the water. It is JUST AS GOOD AS BEFORE 🥹💖💖💖💖💖💖 SO beyond thankful. Best Thai food, and best SUSHI in town. I’ve put all my friends on this place and they are blown away as well!!!!! Thank you for not...

I too ordered something gluten free but had a reaction, which I ordered pad thai and summer rolls which she said she could make gluten free. The lady seemed assuring and she talked to the chef to make sure. I eat at a lot of restaraunts and this is the first restaraunt that gave me a reaction. It is great food but steer clear if you are gluten free. Go to kyoto, indochine, or kapow. If you want sushi go to Genki sushi. They have a...
