Queen Nail — Local services in Wilmington

In response to the post from this establishment, it absolutely did take place at your salon. I have video but did not post video in order to protect the privacy of the young girl in question. But it absolutely was this place and they absolutely did do this. Now that they are lying about it, I will tell everyone I know not to go back.

I’ve been here twice. The first time was fine, everything was a bit rushed and the workers seemed annoyed but the nails were fine. The second time, there was a young lady there with pictures of what she wanted done for some event. They said yes, they understood and went to work. Several times during the process, she mentioned it wasn’t looking like what she asked for and they said it would at the end. Well, it didn’t. I am not a nail technician or artist but it obviously didn’t look anything like what she asked for..we all started looking at the picture bc the technicians were making a scene when she said it wasn’t what she asked for. I mean, yelling at her, rolling their eyes, hitting her arms and legs and screaming. They made her feel so awful, she was in tears. Over nails. They were making fun of her and calling her stupid. It was insane. They agreed to redo them and when I left halfway through, they still didn’t look like what she asked for and they were being so awful to her, I’m not sure how she was still there. Maybe bc her friends and mom or some adult were?

If you can’t or don’t want to do what they ask for..just say no. Don’t lie in the middle and say it is fine when it isn’t. Don’t humiliate a CHILD for your mistake when she asks for it to look like she originally requested .

I walked in and my first thought was "this place smells good." I got the pricing info I needed which was a reasonable price and I sat and waited. About 2 minutes later one of the ladies walked up to me and told me that it will be a long wait. I asked how long. She said 30 minutes. I said okay. Then she expressed that the wait will be really long. I said I have 30 minutes to wait. She said it may be 40. I told her that I had time. She proceeded to express how long the wait was going to be. She said "so you're willing to said that long of a time, I said yes. She then said that it may be an hour, maybe longer. I asked if she was trying to get me to leave. She looked at me for a long time then expressed again how long my wait will be. As I looked around I noticed that none of the other clients had my skin color. I wonder if that's why my services were not wanted. I'll just get my nails done when I get back to Florida, I...

I went to this nail salon since moving to Wilmington at first the service was great pedicure and manicures came out looking great and the service was great Las. The service was a little slow but that is everywhere you go because of everyone being short staffed. The last couple of times I have been however my pedicure color faded drastically, I always get the same color on my fingernails as I do my toenails and it looked like two totally different colors. I brought this to the owners attention and was told they would fix this time but it must be something wrong with me I was told to make an appointment which I did and showed up to on time and had to wait which I was fine with until som3 another worker came back from lunch and took a walk in ahead of me., at this point I simp3 left I will be finding...
