I am so thankful that the food is good and cheap, because the customer service is non-existent. Half the time they leave you sitting at the speaker. If you pull up to the window after waiting at the speaker for 5 minutes with NOBODY in front of you, they have you drive back around and sit in line again. No apologies are ever offered. They will not take your order at the window, regardless of how long you waited in line, or how much longer you are going to wait in line. They do not care about losing the business at all, are happy to inconvenience you, and are quick to deny any responsibility (or offer apologies) for creating an inconvenience.
The employees at the window are existing, at best. The majority of the time they have a bad attitude and any question - 'Could I get a cook out sauce?', 'Do you mind passing me a straw', 'Might you have a few extra napkins to spare?' Is regularly responded to with an eye roll and a deep sigh. I cannot remember the last time I visited the establishment and was greeted with a smile, or even a positive attitude.
To top it off, someone, or multiple people, who work there have a tendency to add small, low-cost items to the bill after they tell you the total. I have complained about this to management multiple times over the years, as we used to pick-up orders for a business, then have to return in attempts to get refunds on the extra items they added in. Needless to say, they lost the business from that establishment long ago. After the attitude I dealt with today, I won't spend another dime here either. Even McDonald's has far superior customer service. Read moreThe service here has gone soooo down hill. I ordered a chocolate cherry shake, but I basically received a vanilla shake with 1/4 a teaspoon of cherry syrup and not a single trace of chocolate. Good thing I had some chocolate syrup at home I could mix in myself.
Unfortunately, the disappointment doesn’t stop there. I asked for cheese fries with my tray, when they repeated the order they said just regular fries. I corrected her by saying “actually i would like cheese on the fries.” Made the mistake of not checking until I got home, because to my disappointment they had given me regular fries with no cheese! After asking twice! I checked the ticket to see if maybe they just forgot but the ticket itself read “fries”. They didn’t even correct the order in the system when I corrected them.
I also have been given attitude when I asked for ranch at the window, saying that we have to ask for it at the intercom, and almost did not receive any ranch because of her rude attitude. The next time I went, I kept in mind to ask at the intercom and you know what they said? “Please ask for sauce at the window” Like??? Which is it???
Usually, I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but for the past 6-12months this specific cookout has disappointed me every single time I’ve gone. Read moreI stopped going to the Monkey Junction restaurant over a year ago after I witnessed one of the employees licking the side of a milkshake cup while I was in the drive through. I went inside to speak with the manager about it and all employees starred at me and treated me rudely. The manager finally came out and was extremely rude himself and said it was her shake and he handled the situation, but honestly, I didn’t believe him because she picked it up off the table with all the customer shakes. I requested a refund because I knew I couldn’t drink the shakes I oredered and he hastily gave me the money and said he didn’t need me. By the way, I deliberately kept my voice down so as to not cause a scene and this is how I was treated. I wrote corporate office but never received a reply as requested. I finally just started going back to that location and sure enough nothing has changed. Rude employees that can never get a milk shake order right. I went tonight and the kid at the window was too busy talking to a girl to tell me which shake was which and shut the window while looking the other way before I could ask.
