Today, I visited this location because I was in the area and my previous experience was awesome. However, today I was very disappointed with my encounter with General Manager Jeff. I ordered hot chocolate due to it being cold. Upon receiving the item, it tasted nothing like hot chocolate and frothy( way too much). Jeff came over to offer assistance; he was not friendly at all. He came back with a new cup of hot chocolate and unfortunately, it tasted the same. I tried adding sugar, but that did not help. Again, I requested assistance from another employee to see how the hot chocolate was made to know if maybe I could have some more cocoa mix. Jeff returned instead of the employee and was very rude. I told him the hot chocolate did not taste good and he proceeded to tell me " the hot chocolate was made from expensive chocolate syrup." I asked him if I could have some to enhance the tasted and he told me, "yes." At no point during our interaction was Jeff polite or showed that he cared. Jeff returned and handed me a small container with liquid in it and walked away. To my surprise, it was maple syrup. I was shocked, but felt disrespected that he didn't care to properly take care of my issue however small it appears to be. To avoid any further interaction with Jeff, I approached another employee, Cameron. He was so friendly and quickly offered to help resolve my issue. Instead of hot chocolate, I asked if I could have a cup of orange juice which he agreedto bring me. Cameron, thank you so much for your kindness and promptness to help me. I was thoroughly disappointed with the substandard customer service Jeff provided to me and do not plan to return to...

This is a tricky one. I have been here 3 times. The first time was the first weekend it was open. It was not good. The biscuits were under cooked but I wrote it off because they were so new. I went back a few months later when they were really busy one Saturday and it was really good. My biscuit that day was very good. Then I went back today…

The beignets were very tasty but they were prepared when they were so hot I had beignet whipped cream soup very quickly after receiving them. The friend chicken was good. I like how they use a chicken thigh. I do not like the hot honey. It taste like Texas Pete mixed with honey. I do not like Texas Pete so I will let that go. I do like most Hot Honey though. Please forgive me if you are a Texas Pete fan.

Anyway, the inside of my biscuit was under cooked again…Doughy inside. The outside of the biscuit was cooked well. My meal was just not that good. I gave 3 stars because so far 2/3 times its been a 3 at best. I know there are a lot of great reviews for this restaurant and the food is plated nicely but it is what it is. I can only tell you about my experiences.

They have a “Jam Bar” The honey butter and strawberry jam was good. The others okay.

I might go back for a 4th and possibly the final try. If so I will report...

We eat here probably once a month or so and today will be our last time. The food has never really been anything special, but we’ve gone back because it’s at least fairly consistent. We ordered 2 biscuits, a side of grits, and the beignets. If you don’t eat here during the morning rush, your food will not be fresh. The grits were solid like plaster and had no salt in them, the biscuits were cold, and the beignets were just a bowl of butter and whipped cream. Seriously, if you don’t want to taste clumps of butter, do not order them. When we brought the grits up to the counter to ask if we could exchange them for potatoes, the girl at the front said we’d have to pay for them, and never apologized for the inconvenience or for the fact that they tasted like they sat in a warmer since 8:30 this morning. There was 1 bite taken out of them and it was our understanding that either grits or potatoes were included in the meal. Not sure if that changed, but I find it hard it extremely hard to believe that a meal that sub-par could be more than $40, but it was! Overall it’s just always kind of been overpriced for what it is, and after the food today and lack of customer service, we will not be returning. I can make a biscuit and candied...

We recently had the absolute pleasure of getting breaky at Vicious Biscuit in Wilmington NC with none other than the amazing Kim, a top social influencer in the area and Founder of The Yummalicious Factor! We ordered the best food I've tasted in ages and enjoyed every bite while basking in the warm sunshine on their lovely outdoor patio. Vicious Biscuit serves up an unforgettable experience that includes a jam and butter bar—That's right, a whole station packed with flavored jellies, butters, and toppings to make each biscuit absolutely perfect! Every bite was like a flavor adventure, and their attention to quality and creativity shines in every dish. Do try the fresh squeezed OJ- It was phenomenal! The atmosphere was fresh, modern, and welcoming. The staff? Friendly and genuinely happy to help, making sure our experience was top-notch from start to finish. I can’t wait to go back and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience in Wilmington. Vicious Biscuit is truly a standout!

Guilty pleasure for sure, but so good. Stopped in for brunch on a Sunday, line out the door but it moves fast. Read the menu on your phone if you're not sure, because you have to order when you get to the counter and the menu is posted behind the counter. Feeling frisky, get a cocktail too! Take your number and find a table. Grab your own silverware and help yourself to the jam and butter bar. It's a hybrid, order at the counter, help your self and server brings your food. We got the crab benny and the hen solo. Both were really good. The missing element to make this place work better is to either have a bussing station where diners can clear their own table, or have food runners clear on their way back to kitchen. When we dined, there had to be half a dozen uncleared empty tables with diners pushing plates aside to sit, all the while the food runners return to kitchen empty handed. Easy training fix by a manager for sure. Will be back for sure though/
