Visiting Wilmington just for 1night, this spot was perfect! Hotel lobby is beautiful decorated and the pool area is lovely! Front desk was very friendly at check in! Our King suite on the 6th floor was immaculate! Super clean, full kitchen and living room space, separate bedroom with blackout curtains. The bed was very comfortable with lush bedding and pillows. All of my photos highlight this suite, including its adorably curated decor! Upon check out I grabbed a complimentary citrus infused ice water and what a refreshing treat that was! We will definitely stay here again in the future and we recommend this hotel to anyone! Location is so close to everything you could possibly want or need! From the hotel website: Experience sustainable comfort and coastal convenience at the new Element Wilmington in North Carolina, located just steps from Mayfaire Town Center and minutes from Wrightsville Beach and Historic Downtown. Our eco-friendly hotel offers easy access to the Riverwalk, Airlie Gardens and Battleship North Carolina, as well as local businesses. Relax in modern guest rooms with Heavenly Beds® and spa-inspired bathrooms. Start your day with a complimentary Rise breakfast and unwind with cocktails at our lobby bar. Stay active at Motion Fitness, open 24/7, or explore the city with our complimentary bike rentals. Plus, our pet-friendly policy ensures a welcoming stay for all.

Was in town for work and stayed at this new concept hotel in an upscale shopping center in Wilmington. The hotel itself is stunning and updated, definitely not what I expected at that price. Check in was really easy but I did have an issue with the room I was assigned as it didn't match what I reserved. I didn't get her name but the woman at the front desk got it swapped for me and was super friendly even though the computer was giving her issues. The manager came out to help and he was great too given the situation. I had already had a crazy day so being able to get such great service from them definitely made up for the extra trip downstairs. The only other issue was that the fridge in the room wasn't working. I figured out that the breaker had flipped and got it working but it did again. Got some ice and continued to relax in the awesome room. There is plenty to do in the shopping center it's located in and there's a Fresh Market almost in the same parking lot if you need anything. Overall really nice hotel with a great lobby bar and seating area and I'll be back for sure in a few weeks.

We didn't realize they had JUST opened. The staff who checked us in were young and FUN! And while something was beeping in the entranceway... they rolled with it and we all laughed. Of course everything is clean; they've been open something like 10 days! But let me take a moment to call out the two gals who take care of and serve breakfast... they deserve a big shout-out! I am coming up on 1,000 nights in Marriott hotels and this is one of the best breakfasts I can remember!!! Egg whites, spinach, zucchini, cherry tomatoes and goat cheese!!!??? Hello awesomeness. They even took time to get us gluten-free bread to toast and were nice about it. While this place is nice and new... the staff is what will make this place shine. Take good care of them; they took good care of us!

The hotel is brand new. I arrived on its 4th day of being opened. The check in was a little slow, the front desk associates were dealing/helping another customer that seemed “complicated/demanding.” The employees remained professional. I was assisted by Drew, he got me checked in and gave me the run down of the place. I proceeded to my room, and I waked past the other rooms I noticed that most all were unoccupied (doors were partially opened). The room was clean, it smelled fresh and almost minty. It opened to the bathroom on the right, the closet on the left, fridge, a glass stove top, dish washer, sink, a desk, a chair and two stools, a small couch/sitting area and the double beds. The room felt roomy. The TV was a good size, like a 75”. I wasn’t in the room long enough to watch tv though. The AC worked great. The breakfasts were great (healthy), the ladies cooking breakfast were friendly and were cooking the specialty of the day to order, so be patient. The Chobani yogurt station was out of service for most of my stay, but it looked like a good and healthy option. The pool was mostly empty, which made it more enjoyable. The water was warm but refreshing. There were 2 sitting areas with fireplaces, one area with a grill, there’s a sitting area by the bar, which can be accessed from outside. I wasn’t able to exit the pool, go to the bar order a drink and get back in the pool. The hotel keeps iced water by the front desk, they add cucumber, mint, other fruits to infuse it. The hotel has complimentary snacks Monday-Thursday from 5-7, consisting of cheese, olives, and sourdough bread in addition to a glass of wine or a beer. This was a very nice touch. We used the gym twice. The equipment is in great working order. The hotel is within walking distance to an outdoor mall, movie theater and various restaurants. There’s a Whole Foods grocery store next door. The parking around front was a bit limited, but there is extra parking around back. I didn’t think to take more pictures. The my overall stay was great and I will be staying here again...

This was my first visit to this new hotel. Front seat staff was friendly and helpful. Managers ( Seven and Tim) are terrible! I stayed one night for a family medical event on October 27. When I arrived it turned cold in Wilmington and the need for heat in my room was undeniable. I called the front desk and Drew tried everything to get my heat on. He put in three service requests to maintenance that afternoon- night. Maintenance NEVER came. It go down to the 40s. Then Drew finally came to my room himself and discovered the problem and corrected it. He was a godsend!

Managers: The next morning I “checked out” but could not properly discuss my bill due to machines not working. Later that day I called management to discuss what happened and left a voicemail. I called twice that day ( morning and afternoon). No response. I called and left voicemails consecutively after no response on 10/28, 10/29, and 10/30. Still nothing. I am very disappointed as I and my family travel to Wilmington frequently. I wanted to “try” this hotel. I am highly dissatisfied by the lack of customer service— not even a response to my inquiries or acknowledgment of the discomfort I experienced. After this review I am seeking help from corporate. Stay only if you have no issues, otherwise you will have better service at Spring Hill Suites, or the downtown Hilton...
