The hotel is brand new. I arrived on its 4th day of being opened. The check in was a little slow, the front desk associates were dealing/helping another customer that seemed “complicated/demanding.” The employees remained professional. I was assisted by Drew, he got me checked in and gave me the run down of the place. I proceeded to my room, and I waked past the other rooms I noticed that most all were unoccupied (doors were partially opened). The room was clean, it smelled fresh and almost minty. It opened to the bathroom on the right, the closet on the left, fridge, a glass stove top, dish washer, sink, a desk, a chair and two stools, a small couch/sitting area and the double beds. The room felt roomy. The TV was a good size, like a 75”. I wasn’t in the room long enough to watch tv though. The AC worked great. The breakfasts were great (healthy), the ladies cooking breakfast were friendly and were cooking the specialty of the day to order, so be patient. The Chobani yogurt station was out of service for most of my stay, but it looked like a good and healthy option. The pool was mostly empty, which made it more enjoyable. The water was warm but refreshing. There were 2 sitting areas with fireplaces, one area with a grill, there’s a sitting area by the bar, which can be accessed from outside. I wasn’t able to exit the pool, go to the bar order a drink and get back in the pool. The hotel keeps iced water by the front desk, they add cucumber, mint, other fruits to infuse it. The hotel has complimentary snacks Monday-Thursday from 5-7, consisting of cheese, olives, and sourdough bread in addition to a glass of wine or a beer. This was a very nice touch. We used the gym twice. The equipment is in great working order. The hotel is within walking distance to an outdoor mall, movie theater and various restaurants. There’s a Whole Foods grocery store next door. The parking around front was a bit limited, but there is extra parking around back. I didn’t think to take more pictures. The my overall stay was great and I will be staying here again...

Read moreThis was my first visit to this new hotel. Front seat staff was friendly and helpful. Managers ( Seven and Tim) are terrible! I stayed one night for a family medical event on October 27. When I arrived it turned cold in Wilmington and the need for heat in my room was undeniable. I called the front desk and Drew tried everything to get my heat on. He put in three service requests to maintenance that afternoon- night. Maintenance NEVER came. It go down to the 40s. Then Drew finally came to my room himself and discovered the problem and corrected it. He was a godsend!
Managers: The next morning I “checked out” but could not properly discuss my bill due to machines not working. Later that day I called management to discuss what happened and left a voicemail. I called twice that day ( morning and afternoon). No response. I called and left voicemails consecutively after no response on 10/28, 10/29, and 10/30. Still nothing. I am very disappointed as I and my family travel to Wilmington frequently. I wanted to “try” this hotel. I am highly dissatisfied by the lack of customer service— not even a response to my inquiries or acknowledgment of the discomfort I experienced. After this review I am seeking help from corporate. Stay only if you have no issues, otherwise you will have better service at Spring Hill Suites, or the downtown Hilton...
